Eva Longoria Is No Longer Ready For Love! NBC Cancels Dating Series After TWO Episodes!

ready for love canceled

Well, that was swift and ruthless!

After only two episodes, Eva Longoria's NBC dating show Ready for Love has been canceled AND pulled from its 10pm timeslot on NBC!

The series, hosted by Bill and Giuliana Rancic and about three bachelors searching for love with the assistant of matchmakers, lost 1.4 million viewers between the first and second hour of its season premiere, and the ratings were even WORSE for its following episode.

For the rest of its run, Grimm will take its place, while Dateline will move to the supernatural drama's Sunday night at 10pm spot!

Looks like we'll never find out how the contestants fared, then!

Oh well! It's not like the long-term track record for relationships formed in reality shows is very encouraging, anyway!

What do U think? Are U sad to see Ready For Love go so soon?

Thank god! This show was awful! It was basically a ripoff of The Bachelor…which we all know is bad to begin with. I think people only watch it for the nostalgia at this point. Somehow NBC was able to make it worse! Plus, why would you decide to copy a show 10 YEARS LATER!?

Ha, good for her. Glad to see her come up with a stupid idea and fail. F her.

It's offensive that they allowed this horrible show to run for such a long time before cancelling it. Good riddance E.L.

This was the best dating show And the only one that I have been hooked on after the first one. What was NBC thinking! Put back! Eva don't give up go to a different channel!

funny to see these bitches that led the democratic convention can't get a job

Eva fails at most things involving relationships with men.

  8. 8

I would've watch it if Giulina was not the host. She should have just stayed at fashion police and talk Sh!t about celebrities. #bully

They should have stuck with SMASH! Take that NBC!!

Whaat? That's so crazy! They've already made the episodes, just play them - put them on Saturday night, where they had them up ’til now… they're gonna use Grimm to take its place, while Dateline will move to the supernatural drama's Sunday night at 10pm spot - those idiots at NBC… just put it in some obscure spot where no one's watching, anyway, let us DVR the thing, let us decide… I thought it was fun to write about on my blog, and I wanted to see more of the 'rock' star - that was tooo funny! 'Soft rock' star, more accurate! hahaha! But was good for a laugh, fun to watch… what's going on at NBC??

It was a dumb show. I think all dating shows are dumb. How could you take a guy serious after making out with a bunch of other girls. Gross.

  14. 14

Hosted by Giuliana and Bill? Yeah, that explains a lot why people didn't watch. I used to like them but those two with fame have a huge ego now.

Well… it didn't take long until Karma started hitting Longoria.

Tony Parker - made to look like he was unfaithful… well we know Eduardo hit it first…
Beso LA - on the verge of going under…
    Housewives - done
Eduardo Cruz - toot in and boot it…
Besos Vegas bankrupt 200 people without work
Ready For Love - biggest humiliation.
    No man…no babies… NADA…
Maybe its time you do your wrongs right, so Karma will come in a good way to you…
Just because you hug poor children for ratings… doesn't make you a good person.

the previews for the show made it seem like it was extremely romantic and a step above of the Bachelor. Then when it aired you saw it was just as trashy as the rest of the dating shows out there. All the girls just as catty. Not worth my time!

This is horrible im banning against NBC for removing the show this was a great show and im so dissapointed that its been pulled off air I really hope that another network picks it up

I watched about 15 minutes of the first episode. It was painful. Glad it is gone.

  19. JESG says – reply to this

it so stupid tho! it's better than the bachelor and all those crap, they also already spent money on the show since they already finish shooting it and they're basically wasting their money…. hoping that they could move it to another channel,or just put the rest of the episodes on the internet, cuz it might be a shock to other people but some people also wants to finish what they started watching

Re: Buildyourownhousebodylife – Absolutely! I don't know why they don't just play all the episodes of the show that everyone paid for and worked hard on. Just stick it in a non prime time spot.

Re: jef – Amen Jeff. I can't support anything Eva Longoria does, after she called me a "stupid woman" for being a conservative.

Re: shaygirl1309 – Couldn't agree more. Maybe she should have been nicer to half the women in this country that she has offended.

  23. Joel says – reply to this

When all is said and done.. you'll see Ernesto again.. soon, probably as Mayor of Miami.. that guy was the real deal. The show had an original twist… professional matchmakers. I thought they were giving the ladies some decent (and much needed) advice. Definitely a better hour than the bachelor.

  24. funny when taught says – reply to this

what is she even famous for besides playing the role of a pedophiliac housewife on desperate housewives? She hasnt done anything interesting since. Maybe she will become a big movie star. IT CAN HAPPEN!

  25. 25

How does Giuliana Rancic still have a job? She is the worst part of E! News, she is AWFUL on Fashion Police and she now has the worst failure on NBC since, well, not that long because EVERYTHING (other than the U.S. spin-off of "The Voice") on NBC fails.

And speaking of NBC, how the hell does NBC Prez Paul Telegdy still have a job????

  26. Michele Clark Jenkins says – reply to this

I really like this show. But okay, so are they going to run the other episodes anywhere? Like online or something. Terrible not to show the endings.

  27. Globalmommy says – reply to this

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! I didn't even know it was on! Shows the state of our sad country when HONEY BOO BO is in it's 20th season and an intelligent relevant show like this is cancelled. I hope another network picks this up… I WILL BE WATCHING!!!

  28. Kayla says – reply to this

Re: jef – amen to that!!

  29. JP says – reply to this

I was disappointed by Ben's behavior as he was very childhish. I did not understand the point of eliminating someone ride off the back. I would like to see more before I make my mind up.

  30. EMILY says – reply to this

I was not impressed w/the premise of the show, having the matchmakers coaching on how the girls should act, or what they should say, to make themselves be soulmates. That took away from the authenticity of presenting who they really were to the bachelors. The only reason matchmakers should of been there, was to screen all of the candidates best suited for each bachelor & then to tell the bachelors why they chose the women they did for them eg; their attributes, etc. Also, if the bachelors had any questions, or concerns, they could turn to their matchmakers for advice. So, I'm not surprised it got pulled, but didn't expect it to be so soon, however not sad to see it go!!! Also the editing on this was very evident, as one moment you'd have the hosts on different sides of each other from shot to shot, not professional editing that's for sure!!! In future if anyone thinks of doing this kind of show, it should be live no pre-recording or editing just let "Mother Nature" takes it's course. What do you all think??? Please feel free to comment!

  31. Elle says – reply to this

Re: EMILY – : completely agree. The show also had a somewhat "clinical" feel to it. And since they did not show much of the interaction between the bachelors and the contestants I could not care less about any of them… and with that: Three's a crowd. Stick to one bachelor then we don't have to get confused over which girl belongs to what harem…

  32. Jenny Jane says – reply to this

I LOVE THIS SHOW!! Please do not cancel it!! I am hooked, and I think it is SOOO much better than the The Bachlor — SHAME ON YOU NBC!! SHAME ON YOU!! BRING IT BACK!!

  33. kparsh says – reply to this

Absolutely loved this show… even w/ a few hiccups that were excused. Meaning, the matchmakers were all very charming, and sincere…just didn't seem appropriate after the initials… I wouldn't allow them to dissect and congregate w/ the contestants on the air as they do. It simply caused "too much talk-not enough action"!! Would have preferred hearing more about the one on one dates, and more about what the bachelors thoughts were. That is what leaves us wanting more, waiting for more… that ever so reluctant spill of pure empathy !

  34. kparsh-2 says – reply to this

I applaud Eva, and the bachelors …as it is an epic journey to watch… And lets face it; the bachelors were incredibly seductive, and just eager enough to make me envision a 50 Shades chapter all over again…. excuse me, I literally had to gulp my Evian…lordy !! oK, SO …LOL Back to this!! While I think Guilianna & Bill are so cute as a couple …(thank the gods… its not another Seacrest hosted show. He's great but lets see some others for a bit. Shall we ??) I think they should be sitting for the most part.. The whole standing thing isn't very relaxing. The matchmakers, should now only be used at the end of the quest for love… when the sir chooses!! That in a nutshell is just how a 40 yr old woman from TX and yes a romantic, calls it. And for those of you who chose to use your comment space to be nasty or through your political beliefs in this …well, you must have liked it!! Cuz YOU WATCHED IT !!! nOW, LETS GET THIS SHOW BACK ON!! I am soooo wanting to see who that Tim …who I can look at all day just because his eyes could melt the sky …. is so sexy and doesn't know it , Ben, because he is so charismatic and charming, and Eduardo for being so damn manly and righteous in the right ways.. Here's a twist : could you even imagine a bachelorette having to choose one of these three… ???? now, there's some yummy pillow talk ?

  35. 35

This show was the WORST! Everyone…Eva, the hosts, the "matchmakers", bachelors, bachelorrettes…were ALL FAKES who wanted cheap fame and more money for their books/careers! Good to know the masses aren't that stupid to buy it! Shame on fame, attention hungry, wanna be glamorous but 4 ft.short, plain faced Eva!
Now…when will the cockroach Kardashian pukes go away?

  36. saMANtha says – reply to this

That totally sucks royal! This meat-market show was so refreshingly fun and loaded with guilty pleasures…light years better than the Bachelor.

Re: kparsh-2 – I'm so in agreement. Sure, mucho Eva haterz out there…not this was the most clever reality show on TV to date.

  38. Enily says – reply to this

Re: Elle – Hi Elle- Thxs for replying & I'm in total agreement w/you. What I find even more disturbing,is how these women put themselves in these positions, vying for a guy who is making out w/the rest of the girls. What shameful degradation & poor representation of WomanKind
