Uhhh, Angelenos!! We get to go to HOGWARTS! Very, very soon!

Though we've heard whispers of such magic for quite some time now, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will officially be coming to Los Angeles’ Universal Hollywood, as construction is set to start this summer!!

We repeat. Harry Potter. Los Angeles. SOON.

As part of NBCUniversal’s 25-year Evolution Plan, the goal is to create tons — 30,000 to be exact — of jobs and hopefully generate $2 BILLION!

The theme park will hopefully be ready for the public by 2015, and though it’s not clear which Wizarding World attractions will be built, we do know that Hogwarts Castle will be a centerpiece.

NBCUniversal revealed:

"The Hollywood experience will be faithful to the visual landscape of the fiction and films, including Hogwarts castle that will serve as the centerpiece of the impressively themed environment."

Don't think we're too old for some Harry Potter!

Isn't the Harry Potter "THINGY" over?

Harry Potter grew up to be a closeted homosexual, worth $100 million, who smokes two packs of cigarettes a day & drinks himself into an alcoholic stupor every night…

How about actually bulding a theme park in the UK? The HOMELAND of Harry Potter? Seriously, if they wanted to build another HP park they could have at least build one on another continent. Why would the US need two? Give one to Asia and Europe!

I only saw the first movie, my former manager took all of us as a "team building" exercise.
Personally I'd rather visit Disney anyday than Universal or Harry Potter. Or even Knott's Berry Farm. Just depends what you like, I guess. Glad for the money it will bring to LA.

Oh great yet another place where you can imagine what Harry Potter would of been like if the cast were over weight Americans. Agree with the person above, should be in England, can't imagine any of the fans feel very Harry Pottery being on a different continent to where the movies are set let alone the same country.
