Matthew McConaughey Doesn't Want Anyone Else Playing Dallas In Magic Mike's Broadway Musical!

Alright, alright, alright — now we're getting somewhere!

The gloriously gifted star of Magic Mike is totes excited for the upcoming Broadway production, but he's also concerned about losing his place on the chorus line!!

Matthew McConaughey spoke recently about his epic dangly dong flick making the tough transition from feature film to an in-your-face stage production.

Mmm, Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer, and Channing Tatum's glorious man muscles in our face??!! We really could die happy!

Matt is equally excited to see how the play might unfold! He admitted:

"…I'd have to see. I want to see it! I've got [my character] Dallas. If someone else is taking Dallas, I would hope they would change his name. If it's someone else. But I look forward to seeing or perhaps being a part of whatever rendition there is, if there's going to be a sequel or what. I'd like to see whatever version there would be. Magic Mike's living on, yeah!"

That's a rambly response, but we'd expect no less from our favorite Dazed & Confused character!!

Matt also spoke about his work with Reese Witherspoon in Mud, but didn't touch upon her recent arrest!

He revealed:

"For me, the whole role and the movie [Mud] feels like when I was 14. And it also has that eighties Stand by Me feel. Not as a throwback film, but this deliberate tone, the deliberate pace."

Yay!! We adore Stand by Me!

Hopefully no leeches get stuck to Matty's testicles, LOLz!!
