Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse over on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
But that wasn't the case!
We’re down to the final four on American Idol, and while we thought we recognized the frontrunners, we’re definitely unsure now.
Angie Miller and Amber Holcomb came out on top last night during the Top Four performance show, placing Kree Harrison and Candice Glover just a couple steps behind.
All contestants performed individually twice during the two hour show: a song of their choice followed by one from the one-hit wonder theme. But it was Angie’s rendition of Julie London’s Cry Me A River that had the judges in awe.
Randy Jackson gushed that it was “the best of the night,” to which Nicki Minaj agreed.
Ch-ch-check out her INCREDIBLE performance (above)!!
Amber was claimed, by Mariah Carey, to have finally brought her “star quality.” The contestant sung her best on the cover of Richard Harris’ MacArthur Park, seriously impressing the judges.
Yet, Candice and Kree struggled to dominate. On her rendition of Drake’s Find Your Love, Randy told Candice:
“The vocals are crazy good [but] doesn’t mean that you have to use it all the time, full-on… It can’t always sound like you’re in church.”
Kree’s vocals also didn’t live up to the judges’ expectations, following her It Hurt So Bad performance. OUCH.
Meanwhile, Mariah seemed unfazed by the rumors of her potential replacement next season: Jennifer Lopez. She was in very good spirits, and even stopped to sign some autographs during commercial breaks! Nothing can get this Glitter diva down!
Only time will tell! Stay tuned!
