meredith vieira return to daytime tv

Those aren’t bad footsteps to follow in!

After taking over for Katie Couric at the Today Show, Meredith Vieira is doing as her predecessor once again.

While it’s been rumored for a few months, sources are now confirming Meredith will shoot a pilot for a daytime talk show!

However, this time around she’ll not only follow in Katie's footsteps, but she could also be competing with her!

Cat fight, anyone??

The show is allegedly filming with NBC while Katie’s show is on ABC.

Meredith’s new project hasn’t been picked up just yet, but if it is, it will reportedly air in 2014.

Considering Meredith’s past successes, we have no doubt she’ll be back on TV next year!

I really like Meredith and think she could do a good job, she always seems very caring about other people, and tries to be kind whenever.
However I have mixed feelings about NBC, wasn't that the channel who was going to pay Casey Anthony for an interview until the backlash got so bad?
When my computer broke last summer I watched ABC and CBS, did not feel like I was missing anything.

She looks old. It's kind of sad, but TV's based on physical appearances. She looks "TV bad" - kind of wrinkly and saggy. It's normal to look that way when you're 60 … just not on TV.
