Lauryn Hill's Angry New Single Couldn't Save Her From Jail! Hear Neurotic Society HERE!

Ugh!! Her life is like a roller coaster right now!

We're super stoked Lauryn Hill pushed out her first single in years, but the release is bittersweet because it came out the same day a judge sentenced her to three months in prison for tax evasion!!

Ch-ch-check out Neurotic Society and try and guess what she's pissed off about (above)!

We're happy Lauryn is back blasting bad-ass new tunes, but it doesn't sound like any of those lyrics are coming from a place of love.

On Facebook, she released this statement:

"Here is a link to a piece that I was 'required' to release immediately, by virtue of the impending legal deadline. I love being able to reach people directly, but in an ideal scenario, I would not have to rush the release of new music."

It sounds she just recorded the track for some quick cash, hoping she'd be able to pay back Uncle Sam by crunch time and avoid jail!

Unfortunately, it didn't seem to matter in the end.
