Sorry dino-lovers! Jurassic Park will be closed down for renovations for a little longer than expected!
Universal Pictures has killed the June 13, 2014 release date for the HIGHly anticipated Jurassic Park 4 in order to make the next installment of dinosaur mayhem as WILD as possible.
"Universal has decided to release Jurassic Park 4 at a later date giving the studio and filmmakers adequate time to bring audiences the best possible version of the fourth installment in Universal’s beloved franchise. We could not be more excited about the vision that Colin Trevorrow has created for this film, and we look forward to watching as he and the producers create another great chapter in this franchise’s storied history.”
Ugh! We thought a release date that soon was too good to be true!
We suppose we'd rather wait than get a hurried, disappointing product, but that doesn't mean we're any less sad.
Director Colin Trevorrow is still putting the final touches on the script while actors like Bryce Dallas Howard and David Oyelowo are being cornered to star alongside some new prehistoric friends.
If they felt pressured before than now we're expecting EVEN MORE from the franchise for the long-awaited sequel.
Hopefully the decision to delay the flick doesn't come back to give them a big tyrannous bite in the butt!
