We don't blame you, gurl!
Her new release is a seriously emotional, heavy song that had us in tears and we weren't even involved!
But we aren't the only ones crying as Kelly Rowland admitted recording Dirty Laundry was nearly impossible.
With the song hitting hard on an abusive relationship she was tormented in and the pain of seeing Beyoncé's career skyrocket while her's remained stagnant after Destiny's Child went their separate ways, Kelly was torn to pieces every time she tried to get through the song.
"It was very emotional. It took me days to record. I had to get past being so upset and actually sing the song, not sob through it. I always hope that my music can inspire someone, the same way other artists inspire me."
And we're so happy she got through it, for her fans and herself!
Now fans will next get to look forward to her emotionally raw performances of the song as she's described her plans:
"It’s me, a light, and a mic. Stripped and honest."
If we see this, we better bring a whole lotta tissue!
Great job, gurl! We're so proud you've let all this out!
Check out the powerful song (below)!
