It’s a particularly close race this year as the top two American Idol contestants duke it out through the final round.
Powerhouse singers Kree Harrison and Candice Glover came to a head last night, performing three songs each: a song of their choice, one chosen by Simon Fuller and their respective coronation song.
Kree took to the stage first with her rendition of Sarah McLachlan’s Angel, followed by her country ballad All Cried Out, and Patty Griffin’s Up To The Mountain. Meanwhile, Candice performed Adele’s Chasing Pavements, her song I Am Beautiful, and I Who Have Nothing.
But as both sang absolutely beautifully, we were left completely undecided. These ladies are just too good!
Ch-ch-check out a couple of their performances (below)!!
As for Idol drama surrounding its judges, we’re still in the dark. But it seems Keith Urban would come back if asked. The judge revealed:
"I would come back… I loved the whole adventure and journey and watching these guys go from these towns that we found them into the final stage… I love [being a mentor]. I see lots of things in them, habits I had or things I had to break through. They're often just tiny things. It's like puppy fat, you just have to shed that and there it is!!"
Who do U think will be crowned this year’s Idol?!
