adam sandler jay leno fox late night suggestion

Jay Leno is gearing up to turn the lights out on his loonnnggg run on the Tonight Show!

However, while Jay is absolutely saying farewell to NBC, Adam Sandler decided it was the PERFECT opportunity to give his bud some (unsolicited) advice.

And let us tell you, Adam is just FULL of wisdom.

During his visit to the late night show, the veteran comedian suggested Jay simply move to Fox!

Adam said:

"You’re thinking about relaxing and I have a good idea for what Jay should do. Don’t you think he should just take it easy, enjoy, breathe, maybe go to Fox, do a show at 11:00 PM, maybe that kind of thing?"

Oh, Adam!

We'd LOVE to see Jay stay on the airwaves, but everyone's time on TV must come to an end at some point.

We say Jay enjoy his remaining months on Tonight and then just sit back and ENJOY all he has accomplished.

Do YOU think Jay should continue to host on another network???

Clearly, Jay's retirement was not planned and he was essentially forced out by NBC. Everyone blames Leno for screw up but the executives at NBC clearly had no idea what they were doing. If Leno truly wants to retire than that's what he should do but if his heart is still in late night then by all means pursue it, heck, go after Letterman's job, lol.

I agree with Adam Sandler, he should go to fox and call it tonight with Jay Leno.
It should be more like the show he did before Conan. I think he needs a sidekick.
NBC is making a big mistake.

Unlike others Jay is a late night icon. I love his comedy. I love how classy he is. I would totally watch him on another network. I don't think HE likes not working either. I think he loves it. He takes care of his employees unlike the others. He's a good guy

First intelligent thing I have ever heard of Adam Sandler saying. Jay could move to Fox and blow all the others out of the water in the ratings race. Why ? Intelligent - funny - nice - and never afraid to say what is NOT Politically Correct. That is, far and away, what makes him the King of Late Nite. Jay is a class act when compared to anyone else trying to do late nite.

Jay is being pushed off the air because he has not rolled over and played dead for the powers that be. They want ALL the Press and Media to ignore anything P. Obama does and do maintain T.V. silence on pointing out anything amiss with this administration. Mr. Leno is above that and has supported when it was right, but has also jabbed when he saw wrong. He is being fired with his permission. I love Jay and would hope that he takes his highest rated late night show to another channel so I can still tune in.

Sandler's on the money. Jay could also launch a multi-city tour if he misses standup.
Leno keeps his zingers clean, olde school. He's airwave ready.

Jay has a style that is so vastly different than his replacement. When Jay leaves a big part of The Tonight Show,s audience will be leaving NBC. We all know that he is not retiring by choice; so it only makes sense that Jay goes to Fox or CBS and takes his audience with him. I believe that the viewers will be much more loyal to Leno than NBC!
