Justin Bieber Beats Elton John On Highest-Certified Singles List!

| Filed under: Music MinuteWacky, Tacky & TrueElton JohnBusiness BlitzJustin Bieber

justin bieber highest certified single

Justin Bieber is on a roll, even if Taylor Swift is hating every minute of it!!

The ultra-successful singer just walked away with a Milestone Award at 19 and NOW he has beat the iconic, the legendary Elton John!

JB's Baby has gone platinum 12 times to become the HIGHEST-certified single in HISTORY according to Billboard, demolishing The Rocket Man's 1997 11 times platinum, Candle in the Wind/Something About the Way You Look Tonight.

While it took Elton MANY, many years in the music biz to break the record, Bieby got a hand from the new on-demand streaming data that has been incorporated to measure gold and platinum success.

Regardless, way to go Bieby!!!!

We bet this'll earn you yet ANOTHER kiss from Selena Gomez!

Maybe this time in a place less PG? *WINK WINK* LOLz!!!

This piece of trash makes Vanilla Ice look classy….these little gurls that buy his trash need to grow up and stop feeding him.

This makes JB's "Baby" diamond status.

So they had to tack on You Tube plays to reach this "milestone". This little puke doesn't have any of the skills or class that Elton John has shown for years.

Beiber is the new forthcoming of Vanilla Ice, just look at his hair, and the way he carries himself. It is a show that will carry on as long as American feeds out of his hands even though he hasn't ever written an original song in his own life. I truly believe that people have lost the love for true musical talent that can send tingles up your spine. There is so much talent within our youth that is overlooked simply for the fact of star factor. It truly is sad how many talented young musicians are overlooked simply because they don't have the marketable look that most companies are so eager to find like gold. But what can you do. I know good music to my ears when I hear it, and I'm sure most do. I wish that I had a better argument but the billboards show it. Hope someone agrees with me. Thanks

Re: MichJB – Welcome to today world. The world of social media where a 19 year old is the most powerful presence worldwide in social media. Olden times are just that olden times. It's ironic you mention YouTube because this is where Justin Bieber was discovered and has dominated since he was 15. Billboard music charts is the platinum standard recognized internationally when it comes to charting music. This historic first ever Billboard Milestone Award was earned and that is something no one can take away from him or even can even argue.

funny how all of you are hating on Justin yet you are all older than him and unsuccessful. you tell his fans to grow up yet you spend time hating on him. and get the message perez, he and selala are friends, the relationship is done. and he meant he's taking a break to see his family when he said gonna take some time, he doesnt need to acknowledge slutlena's using ass

Re: bieberoveryou – You have no clue who is successful or not on a comment board. Stupid thing to say.
