Justin Bieber Is An 'Asshole' For Multiple Concert Delays, Or So Slams Jon Bon Jovi!

jon bon jovie slams justin bieber late concerts

Jon Bon Jovi is definitely NOT a Belieber!!

Justin Bieber made it clear during his awkward Milestone Award acceptance speech that he's TIRED of people focusing on all the drama, and that he just wants to be known for his "craft"…

Well, it seems Jon Bon Jovi finds it hard to focus on Justin's "craft" when he's disappointing fans the world over!

The iconic rocker recently took some time to comment on a few of Biebsy's more questionable antics, specifically his multiple concert delays that happened during his Believe tour earlier this year.

The Livin’ on a Prayer belter slammed:

"Every generation had guys that do that, none of that is new.

They run the risk of disrespecting their audience members who have worked hard to pay for their ticket, to give you the permission to take two or three hours of their lives – or in that kid’s case, 80 minutes of their lives.

Do it once, you can be forgiven. Do it enough times and shame on you. They won’t have you back. Then it becomes a cliché. It’s really not cool- you’re an asshole. Go to f***in’ work!"

Please, JBJ… tell us how you REALLY feel, LOLz!

But we can't say we really disagree!

And if Justin keeps up with these controversial shenanigans that are basically a big old "eff you" to fans, his Beliebers might just have a MAJOR crisis of faith!

Couldn't have said it better. This untalented, robotic product-manufactured kid deserves to be shipped to Artantica where he'll be unheard of.

Jon Bon Jovi is calling RiRi an asshole too, her concerts and scheduled appearances are Hours and Hours late. No apologies from her.

Why did he not say that when Madonna and Rihanna recently were over 2 hours late to their concerts? Also, Lauren Hill was late for 3/12 hours for her concert a few years ago. Is dissing Justin Bieber a new way for Old artists to get attention? By the way, in South Africa recently Bon Jovi attracted 70.000 to a concert whereas Justin drew over 95,000[Justin drew a total of 150 thousand over two days.

    7

He has given about 110 concerts so far and was late to about 5. I don't think that's a reason to attack him. He has to deal with mobs and paps that obstruct him on the way to and from concerts.

Re: CloverGreen – Many artists for some reason or another have been late to concerts. I know you should be always, if possible, on time. But he is acting like a first class diva although he has a fraction of the following of Justin Bieber or Rihanna.

  9. Haleema says – reply to this

    9

That's really disrespectful. Justin was only late to two or three of his concerts. If Bon Jovi got mobbed EVERYWHERE, Im sure he'd be late too. Besides he said that about other artists aswell which on his part is extremely rude and shows that his opinion is invalid.

I am so tired of what is going on in our society. Many may be angered by this but whether it is justin bieber or our neighbor next door no one has the right to belittle, humiliate, or talk trash about another person. We all seem to forget that there people out there that hate us just for being Americans. We all act like we have the right to degrade a person based on who we think they really are, but we need to remember “those that are free from making ANY mistakes in your life” should cast stones.

Re: ivan – You're absolutely right….but, Bon Jovi attracted 70,000 fans after 30 years in the business. When your little Bieber is still attracting fans in 30 years THEN we'll talk! :-)

  12. 12

Harsh but absolutely fair, I just came back 2 hours ago from Bon jovi's concert in Oslo and not only did the concert started on the clock, they went on for nearly 3 hours. When any artist gets to pull this off after more than 30 years in the business they get to lecture whomever they want.

Lots of people pay loads of money to see Justin Bieber in concert. I think Justin should understand that it's a whole new group of people that deserve a unique experience. Yeah, he may make millions but it's still his job. He wouldn't be anything without those fans.

  14. @v@ says – reply to this

    14

Bullseye on Jon's part. A friend just saw a Fleetwood Mac concert in a neighboring city, and they played close to THREE hours, with no opening act. That's because you're supposed to get into the zone with the music until you're dripping; not do an hour ten, take the money and run. It's not just Beiber, either. Rihanna and others have been pulling this shallow diva crap…but it's their loss. It really is.

Re: ivan – So true.. Justin"s concerts drew world wide attention in South Africa. I think that is the real story here with Jon Bon Jovi. A case of jealousy being a green eyed monster. Bon Jovi's day in the sun has been long over. I give him credit though for acknowledging the fact that artists have been late for their concerts for generations. Long before Justin Bieber was ever born. Justin Bieber was not the first nor will he be the last artist to have concert delays, it goes with the territory. I have been to my share of big name concerts and I can tell you there been more than a few late start ups to those.

    Re: ivan

Ivan, your logic in dismissing Bon Jovi's Bieber comments is as rational as dismissing someone's Hitler comments because they also didn't bash Charles Manson and Osama bin Laden simultaneously. Bon Jovi was probably asked directly about Justin Bieber. If he were asked about Madonna or Rihanna, he would have probably given a similar response.

    Re: ashley

Oh, Ashley, we most certainly have the right to say what we want about a celebritywho has let us down. This is America, and we have freedom of speech. Therefore, if a person in the public eye has done something or said something to cause us distress, we are perfectly entitled to say so.

  18. 18

I agree. Justin you will be respected for your "craft" when you show more dedication towards it. Stop hanging out with losers, smoking weed and partying, and generally getting into scandals, and prove that you actually put your career first. Right now you just come across as a douche who doesn't give a f*ck about anything.

Bon Jovi is the real deal, like so many other great groups in the olden days.
Now ya need to respect BJ.

I was never a Belieber. What I can't stand in the beginning was a lot of fangirls hating on people who didn't like Justin's music. I hate generic pop. It's my ears and my opinion. Now, I wonder what all those beliebers think about Justin pretty much giving his fans the bird, so to speak. Being late multiple times and always having a lame excuse is immature. Maybe he'll grow up one day(?). It says that he doesn't care about his fans and that a lot of them have to work hard for every penny they get and they spent it on him. And, BTW, a Milestone Award?!!! He's freakin' 19 years old!!! Really. There are more deserving artists in this world who work for decades on their 'craft'. Doesn't he realize that his fans are his bread and butter? Keeping screwing them over and he'll be knocked off his high horse.

Re: Haleema – That's because there are a lot more mindless sheep in this world. Bon Jovi is far more talented that beiber or Rhianna. They're just factory made, cookie cutter faux musicians. I'm not trying to be mean but the truth's the truth. Music isn't what it used to be. They are all starting to sound the same. No originality anymore from the newbies. What sets them apart? Nothing.

I'm not Bieber fan and I am no Jovi fan, but I think Jovi should mind his own business. Let the kid be who he wants to be. What difference does it make to him anyway. If his fans love him anyway then it's really no concern of his.

I don't approve of his actions but the dude is always gettin picked on for every little thing he does, unlike other artists who pull his same s**t. I think that would get to him not making him think right. And ppl think about it touring for months is probably exhausting and will get to you. And he probably could careless about all this cuz in the end he has millions for doing nothing while everybody else has to earn their pay.

  38. Dan says – reply to this

    38

I don't care how many concerts Justin is late to, you do everything to get there on time no matter what. Well maybe he should prepare for such things and they will not turn out like this. Hell he should just show up early at the venue and maybe he won't be called name. Also Bon Jovi is a very successful businessman and knows what he is talking about. But to still do shows to 70,000 people after 20+ years in the business is still doing pretty well.

Richie Sambora: “Jon Bon Jovi needs to stop trash-talking!” Did Bon Jovi offer a 50% rebate to ticket holders when Sambora left the tour? No! Bon Jovi replaced Richie with Phil X. Who the hell is Phil X? The ticket holders that expected to see Richie Sambora perform got screwed again! Not like it’s the first time, seems to be a reoccurring problem. So, Justin Bieber was late eh? I hope that takes some of the heat off you and your makeshift travelling band. Take the money and run, Jon!

  41. Dingo says – reply to this

    41

Re: ivan – Bon Jovi's fans actually pay for their tickets; Bieber's fans' parents front the $ for his. Your comparison is apples to oranges. Down in Australia, the Dingo would rather hear Bon Jovi than Bieber any day.

  42. Dingo says – reply to this

    42

Re: Tommy DisCool – You're wrong. NO ONE cares about Sambora wrt Bon Jovi. It's like the other members of the Black Eyed Peas. The Dingo says: your argument doesn't pass muster. Later, Tommy D.

Ha, seen em both in concert, Bieber is a total tool. He is SO full of himself and half of the damn concert was a movie. If he wants to stick around he best be listening to Jon. Bon Jovi is so amazing in concert, and Jon has got one hell of a voice. Love me some Bon Jovi, and definitely was not impressed with Biebs.

Re: Dingo – Uhm, yeah, they do care about seeing Richie, not that Richie taking a powder (due to SOMEthing mayb shitty) is any fault of Jon's. At least I want to see Richie Sambora. There's a ton of support for him on the boards as well. I don't want some studio musician even if he's brilliant. I didn't go see Van Halen last round without their bass player, but had seen Wolfie another time and he was alright.

I'm a passionated fan of Bon Jovi especialy for John, but he's asshole too. The fans, there is many Richies fans, who buy a ticket to Bon Jovi performance, mostly for Sambora. And they acting like kids. Whole group and fans had damage, becouse of an amatured fight. I will wait when Richie will be back and just when I will by a ticket. Becouse I'm not going to the concert of asshole.

    Re: ivan
Jon Bon Jovi started his career when he was 20… He's now 50! That's 30 years in the industry… When Justin is 50 (he'd probably die before that because of his excessive drug use) let's see if he can get 70,000 fans, let alone a concert! Considering most people who went to the Bon Jovi concert probably weren't even born at the peak of Bon Jovi's career, 70,000 isn't too bad!
