To infinity and seXXXyyyy!!!!
One lucky philanthropist bought a trip sitting next to Leonardo DiCaprio on Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic space flight.
The trip, which Leo may or may not regret to agreeing to later, sold for $1.5 million Thursday night at amfAR's annual gala and auction at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
Now that was just for ONE SEAT. Meanwhile, another pair of tickets on the same flight went for $1.8 million.
Branson, who recently dolled himself up in flight attendant drag after losing a bet, wants the first trip to soar from New Mexico at the end of the year. How amazing, we hope it's televised!
LOL it's gotta be, right?? Like, no question about it!?!
Oh and by the way, Leo offered another lovely item on the auction block that night. Thanks to him, amfAR got $2.3 million off a sparkling package that included a Chopard watch and two tickets to the premiere AND after-party of Leo's upcoming drama — Wolf on Wall Street.
The bundle also came with an Oscar weekend chock full of Beverly Hills Hotel luxury, tickets to the highly sought-after Weinstein party, and the gift of attending Elton John's annual viewing party as well as Vanity Fair's party-poppin' after-party WITH… WITH… Heidi Klum!!
Not sure how she agreed to be a part of that, other than Leo's hold on models in general (well, except for one), but her reported willingness for charity truly inspires us, LOLz!!
