Emma Watson Prepared For Her Pretty Wild Role In The Bling Ring By Watching Reality Television!

Alexis Neiers, the young woman on whom Emma Watson's character in The Bling Ring is based, may not be allowing the Sofia Coppola-directed flick to ruin her reputation, but apparently, she won't need to…because all of her real-life antics caught by reality television cameras during her stint on the E! series Pretty Wild will be doing that for her!

You may recall that the short-lived trainwreck of a show was filmed right as Neiers was going to trial for her involvement in the 2008 and 2009 string of celebrity robberies…and according to the Harry Potter starlet, she relied on all of the unscripted drama documented by camera crews as a way to get inside her character's head!

She explains:

"To be fair to Alexis, [my character] is like three steps removed from who she might be in real life. A lot of the material in the movie was based on an article, which was based on a reality show, which we all know isn't real life. I wasn't trying to impersonate her—she just inspired the character. I watched Pretty Wild so many times to try and get her into my brain, though. It gave me anxiety. How do you watch it?"

We understand what she means!

Watching that show is by no means a pleasant experience!

But we can't help but wonder if ONE specific scene actually made it into the movie…and we think everyone knows what that is!

You don't? Okay, fine!

Then ch-ch-check out this GEM (below) and pray with us that our gurl Hermione and Leslie Mann get the chance to re-enact it all!
