Icona Pop Wants To Be Tupac's Secret Swedish Girlfriend! Hear Their New Song HERE!

| Filed under: Music MinuteIcona Pop

It's an electro-dance EXPLOSION!

After performing at the Billboard Music Awards earlier this month, Icona Pop blew the eff up!!

They're everywhere these days and, well, WE LOVE IT! Ha, you probably saw that one coming!

Ch-ch-check out the dynamic duo's pop-tastic new track, Girlfriend (above)!

Hmmm, the song's chorus "All I need in this life of sin / Is me and my girlfriend" sounds strikingly familiar!

Probably because it's borrowed from a similarly titled Tupac Shakur song, LOLz!

Hopefully those seXXXy Swedish songstresses send holographic Tupac a royalty check, LOLz!

    Isn't that a Jay-Z song, not Tupac?

No this is tupac's original song. Jayz did his own version but it sucked.

Actually, this song has been sampled several times, most notably by Mariah Carey ft. Usher - How Much (1999), Jay-Z ft. Beyonce - Bonnie and Clyde (2003).

Am I the only one that hears the Kid Cudi/Guetta "Memories" influence? Very similar beat.

@AngelBad, the song is originally by Tupac Shakur. Beyonce and Jay Z did their own rendition, Bonnie and Clyde 03, released in the same year
