Red Hot Chili Peppers To Make NEW Music Real Soon! Back To The Studio This Fall!

red hot chili peppers fall recording

It’s been almost two years since we heard new music from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

We think it’s time they head back to the studio. Lucky for us, so do they!!

Drummer Chad Smith revealed that plans of starting on some new choons are in the works:

“We’re probably looking at getting together in September and getting on a roll and starting to write songs for the next record.”

Yesssss! Though things are still in the very early stages, he added:

"We always have little ideas percolating in jams and rehearsal warm-ups and sound checks and gigs. Sometimes we bust into stuff… We just kind of play whatever, so we always have those little tidbits. But we don't have any fully-formed songs until the four of us get in a room together. That's when the real writing process starts. So, yeah, we're looking at the fall."

RHCP still have a few festival performances to get through this summer — Outside Lands and Metallica’s Orion Festival — but September will be here before we know it!!

Wonder what new direction they'll take!

Really hope this next album is better than the last one. Or better yet they need to get John Frusciate back in the studio ASAP!!!

Very nice to hear the Red Hot Chili Peppers are making new music. Under the Bridge has not aged in the least, and for those who believe that song is a classic, welcome them back to see if they have at least one more in them. - thepublicblogger
