Jennifer Love Hewitt Won't Back Down! What J. Love Is Demanding If Season 3 Of The Client List Is To Happen

With a man in her life, a hit TV show on the air and a baby on the way, Jennifer Love Hewitt should be on top of the world right now!

But those three things are actually causing quite the conundrum for the producers of J. Love's TV series, The Client List.

Hewitt reportedly wants her pregnancy written into the show next year, giving her call girl character a bun in the oven as well for Season 3. But Jen's also asking that the baby daddy on screen be the same as the baby daddy in real life!

Unfortunately, producers don't want J. Love's real-life fiancé, Brian Hallisay for the role of the father though. They want the series' male lead, Colin Egglesfield.

Now, neither side seems willing to budge, and that could be bad news for the show, which wrapped its second season Sunday night.

Will this be the end of The Client List???

I've never seen this show and I doubt I ever will but Jennifer Love Hewitt should be happy she has a job, what was she doing before this? Oh yeah, nothing. Isn't this show on the women's network?

I think this is the stupidest thing I ever heard, I mean, is a show, your job is to act, whats the problem that other man act like the father of your baby, the last time I heard, that was acting, or is The Client List supposed to be a autobiography that we didn't know…

Hmm, is she really in a position to be that demanding? She's starring in a semi hit of a show on Lifetime…no there isn't anything wrong with being on a cable network, heck one of my favorite shows is on TV land…but I don't see those actresses being demanding. Be grateful you've got a job girl, cause I don't see the major networks picking up the phone to call you for a role if this show tanks. Is it really that big of a deal if your baby daddy isn't starring in the show with you? That's like me telling my boss that if they don't hire my boyfriend and have him work right next to me I'm gonna leave…if I ever did that I would be fired on the spot. Some of these celebs are just ridiculous. They are so far from the real world.

The previous comments are uninformed. Her fiance and baby's father CURRENTLY plays her husband on the show. It's not an outlandish request, or hardly even a stretch, and she's not making diva-like demands. Also, she has directed several of the episodes of the show, so she is more than just an actress that should be "thankful to have a job" — she is a contributor to the creation of the show's plot line, and therefore she IS in a position to have creative input.

Re: fid – She had a hit show before this one.

Re: anewlow – actually she does have very much say so regarding this show, do u not notice her name in the credits she's executive producer

I don't watch this show, but honestly, what does it matter? The show story is not real anyway. Actresses are always having stories around their pregnancies. What an odd thing to be weird about.

it can't be the way the want, since the guy who they want to play the father of her baby never slept with her in the show, but the real father of the baby, does sleep with her, so it actually makes no sense.

This can't be true. Girl! Leave the writing to the writers and get to working. You're better than this.

Re: overthere – Hit show? You're wrong about this. She had no job.

The show is awesome if you haven't watch it.. really good. However, what your might not realize is that Jennifer is a Producer and Director of this show. So YES I think she does have some say.

Re: texasannie – obviously you do not watch the show. She is currently engaged & having a baby with the same guys that happens play her husband in the series. She is a producer & directory of the show so why would she NOT want it written this way. she does have a say in the matter.

"So my girlfriend pays for us to go vacations, gets me a job, gets me a steady job, and spends the better part of our relationship denying we're together. All I had to do was get her pregnant before she hit 35." This is just to generate buzz about the show. It's the writers versus someone that is the star of the show. A pregnant call girl? YEAH she's gonna take a break from filming and go right back to it.

Re: anewlow – Since you clearly have yet to actually see the show and have no idea what you're talking about, I'll clear a few things up. The fiance that she wants as the actual baby daddy, Is actually her "Husband" in the show. Yes she should just accept what the producers want but its not to difficult to budge a little for Jennifer. It would most likely cause a LOT of drama on the show if the "Husbands" brother on the show ended up being the father. It would get to complicated, Just my thoughts. Have a little more respect PLEASE

Re: LA GIRL – Thank goodness, you're also commenting about this too. It bothers me that people feel the need to budge in and talk a lot about what Jennifer can and can not do with her own show. If you haven't watched the show then don't speak up, Simple as that.
