The end is near for Don Draper…
Jon Hamm and co. are going away for awhile again - the season 6 finale of Mad Men airs this Sunday in what is SURE to be a shocking conclusion. And it may even include some clues for what we can expect in the SERIES FINALE!
"I sort of figured out what I wanted to do about two seasons ago now, and I’m gonna stick to it. You’ll have to trust me when I get there that I thought of it a long time ago."
OMG!!! What is it? Will Joan marry Roger? Will Pete Campbell finally shoot off that gun? Was Liz Lemon's prediction of Don going to work for Peggy right???
Weiner won't say what will happen but he is saying what WON'T happen.
They're NOT going to push Don out of a window.
Many thought Draper would take a swan dive for his swan song, based on the opening credits showing a silhouetted suit falling from a Manhattan skyscraper.
As for hints on what fans can expect next season, Weiner says ANYTHING that has happened on the show can come back in future episodes:
"I'm putting it all on the table for this season. One of the great things about the show is that even though we do a different show every season, the writers and myself are always calling on the history of the show. We hopefully never ignore what has happened. A lot of times, things feel like they're in reference to something a while ago, and they really are."
How do YOU want to see Mad Men come to a close???
