This is the stupidest thing ever!! Now u cant even tell a joke o go to a themed party without being racist now?! When blacks call themselves the N word its ok, but God forbid dont let whitey call them anything but african american!! We r in America where it doesnt matter what race, sex, religious preference, whatever shouldnt matter, we have the right to say what we (americans) want and u have the right to be offended, but it shouldnt be censored, basically takes away our !st amendment, freedom of speech. This country has gone so liberal that soon pedofiles will just be an "alternative lifestyle" everything else has….so sorry Paula!! ur show was great!!

Re: shaygirl1309 – Good riddance. No one will miss an insensitive idiot like you and your kind!!!!! Go out and join the KKK why don't you!

The "N" word will be used how many times in the black community today alone. Have we really gone this far with political correctness. This is an outrage that networks have stooped to this level. Networks sell out women, use crime, murder, whatever to get their ratings, but "this" is too much. If you want justice it has to be across the bar, you cannot pick and choose.

It's time for white people to stop apologizing for the past. It's a freakin word. Get over it. Everybody gets called something at some time that they don't like. Unfortunately the black community has made a career out of be offended.

This is the dumbest thing - this precious woman has really made your network more than Alton, Bobby, Giada and Rachel - she is a real person - I am a huge Food and Cooking Network fan and watcher - this really disappoints me

Bye Paula. I'm sure you'll pop up again somewhere, sometime after this has all cooled down. I must say I think this whole thing has been a total debacle. I'm disappointed, but fully understand the position of the Food Network. You and your handlers left the network no other choice.

Re: Zagg35 – Okay, HONKEY, CRACKER, REDNECK….If you say so!!!!

Do Jews expect people to forget the Holocaust? or the horrible pain that was inflicted on them, No one is asking whites to apologize!!! No one needs your APOLOGY…. what we do need is to NEVER forget the past." Those who forget the past are Doomed to repeat it"

Re: Carla Parker – Except Food Network rehired a man who lied about his military service, and cooking for the royals. So no, don't understand why they had to let her go. Look up Robert Irvine.

Oh by the way… Paula Deen has a WHITE STAFFERS ONLY policy in her restaurants.
    Hale to the Old South!!!!

Food Network made the smartest decision it could when it fired Paula Deen!!! Food Network does not want to go down in the Heap of Sh@t that Paula will land in…Paula Deen has now destroyed her Brand… Food Network doesn't want to destroy their own brand backing up a racist like Paula Deen… I was once a fan of Paula Deen… If I had known how she felt about black people I would've stopped watching her program years ago. Good Riddance Paula Deen!!!

I'm glad she got fired because she was extremely annoying, I could not watch her.

Re: mselliemae – Paula has a "WHITE STAFFERS only policy for the " Staff" can use the same restroom she uses…that is ONLY WHITE STAFF" …may use the same restroom she uses. This is known by all blacks who work in her restaurants.. It's not just the " N' word… Look up Paula condones slavery of her ancestor. See the video…Any white who openly uses the "N" word…usually can be counted on to have a history of racisim in their background!!!! No sane white person would ever be caught dead using the "N" word in mixed company or in public…especially when they have so much to lose. " Karma is a Bitch" ain't it Paula!!!!

Are those words supposed to be offensive? ._.
I couldn't help but to just laugh ^-^

Re: mselliemae – i don't belong to the kkk but you know dumbass blacks in the 60's were called negros. no one should be fired for a stupid word that blacks still use.

So they keep Blow Job Giada, even go on to put her front (major cleavage) and center in the judging shows and ax Paula. I see where they have drawn the line in the sand and it is a HUGE double standard. Thanks to Giada I can't watch her without seeing John Mayer's "O" mouth. I now know that Food Network is really made up of frat boys who really just want to pull a hummer train.

They caved into political correctness. This happened over 20 years ago…get over it. Have you ever heard of foregiveness. All the nasayers are ready to cast the first stone because they have no sins in their past.

Re: mselliemae – Geez, how original.
I did not watch the video, but read part of a transcript, it was pretty lame.
She was under oath in a depo in a civil lawsuit and told the truth. She should not suffer because of it.
Oh and folks, PC went out of fashion last decade except for the morons in DC and SF.

If I had to guess, Paula Deen is not the only one in the United States that hasn't used the "N" word. In my opinion, the whole thing has been blown out of proportion.
I totally agree that using the "N" word is wrong, but we need to get over it.

Re: Zagg35 – I just want to congratulate you,on the statement that the black community has made a career out of being offended. I wish I had thought of that first. It's so true.

  23. 23

It's sad, did she say something wrong? Eh kinda. No one should be fired fro their job and their lives ruined for making a racial, homophobic, sexist slur. That's just idiotic. I mean seriously, ask yourselves this overly PC people, What's worse? Someone saying the N word, or someone being fired from their job? Yeah, thought so. Also making racial jokes or dropping the N bomb does not instantly make someone racist. Racism is the hatred of someones race or thinking they are superior to another.

  24. 24

    I LOVE that top
