Rihanna Rips Bitter British Journalist With Angry Rant & Unflattering Portrait! Get The Deets HERE!

rihanna rant instagram british journalist elizabeth ann jones

And you thought RiRi and Breezy had nothing in common!

Today both of the off-again lovers slapped our favorite internet upside its head with rants about journalists they feel have wronged them!

Whereas Chris Brown defended himself against allegations of a recent hit and run, Rihanna was pissed off because of a recent online profile that referred to her as a "toxic role model" and "Pop's poisonous princess"!!!

Ouch!!

The article had some harsh words to be sure, but Ri's Instagram response was way harsher!

She posted an unflattering pic of the article's author Elizabeth Ann Jones and included this caption:

"LOL!!!! My money got a bad habit of pissing people off!! If you sincerely wanna help little girls more than their own parents do, here's a toxic tip: don't be amateur with your articles, you sound bitter! What's all this about hair and nails and costumes and tattoos?? ….That shit ain't clever!!! That shit ain't journalism! That's a sad sloppy menopausal mess!!! Nobody over here acts like they're perfect! I don't pretend that I'm like you, i just live… My life!! And I don't know why y'all still act so surprised by any of it!! "Role Model" is not a position or title that I have ever campaigned for, so chill wit dat! I got my own fucked up shit to work on, I'll never portray that as perfect, but for right now it's ME!! Call it what ya want!! Toxic was cute, Poisonous Pop Princess had a nice ring to it, just a lil wordy!

And P.S. my first American Vogue cover was in 2011…APRIL!!! #ElizabethAnnJones"

Oh, SNAP!!

While we stand by RiRi's right to speak her mind and defend herself from nasty written allegations, we don't think she can safely hide behind the "I never asked to be a role model" defense.

Like it or not, you are a role model! The anti role model role model, in fact!

Eight million people follow you on Instagram, 30 mil on Twitter, and many, many more buy your albums!

Your actions and words are informing a generation! Just make sure you keep that in mind!!

DAMN STRAIGHT! Parents should be their kids role models. You don't know what these young people are going through. What shit they're already dealing with, and you want to put that pressure on them too? Unless they say they want to be, no one should assume.

Impressed with your writing on this one Perez. Everyone IS a role model, whether they like it or not. When anyone witnesses you, you ARE a role model. A role model for nastiness, ineptness, being a jerk, or being classy, being a humanitarian, –anytime you are witnessed, you are teaching.

    You think that Rihanna
    had
    a
    fit
    because
    the
    journalist
    looks
like KATIE PERRY in 20 years …. ?

They both have the right to say their piece, and it looks like they both did. There will always be different points of view, and it was good to read Ri's rebuttal.

As a 32 year old I am a huge fan of Rihanna and know better than to take her serious. But let's be honest.. young girls ARE impressionable and whether or not she "campaigned" to be a role model is irrelevant. She has a "navy" of little girls idolizing her and she's setting an example for them whether she likes it or not. She is a "big sister" to a lot of little girls who have no one to look up to. To those who are saying that these girls parents should be their role models, stop fooling yourself like you never idolized and emulated a movie or music star. Be honest. Not all kids even have parents to set an example, so miss me with that. As a woman, Rihanna should want to step up to the plate and present a better example for these girls. God BLESSED her with a gift, a VOICE, and this is what she does with it? The reason Rihanna lashed out the way she did is because she KNOWS that woman was right. Truth hurts.

Why is it Rihanna's job to help raise my children? Rihanna is not my children's role model…I am. If Rihanna is your child's role model and you don't want her to be, maybe you should rethink how much time and attention you are giving to your kids…

  9. Proud West Indian says – reply to this

    9

Rihanna is absolutely correct. Celebrities are not role models…parents are! Rihanna snapped back as a proud West Indian should/would!!

  10. 10

Always known Rihanna is a piece of shit, though I thank this journalist lady for trying to get the word out

  11. hey yall says – reply to this

    11

I don't understand people, look at what your kids are watching and listening to the best of your ability. Rihanna, Britney Spears or whatever are not parents to every single little girls in this planet. She wants to dance in a bikini in a video clip, then let her do what she wants, but t is a parent's role to remind their child what is appropriate and what is not. Look at what is going on in your homes with your kids instead of being a cop out and blaming on the random stranger gyrating on televisiom

  12. Kiyla says – reply to this

    12

Re: Tracy – OMG THANK YOU everything you said is spot on! I am soo sick of people saying its the parents job to raise their kids blah blah! That's so much bs! ESPECIALLY in today's society parents don't have much control or influence or their kids and as you said a lot of them don't even have parents so absolutely they are looking at someone as beautiful and rich as Rihanna to aspire to its not rocket science! And that is my gripe with Rihanna she refuses to GROW UP! The simple fact the she started her rant implying that the journalist was jealous of her money screams how immature she is! Rihanna is honestly the perfect example of parents not actually parenting their kids..

  13. Come On says – reply to this

    13

In this article the writer says that Rihanna dresses like someone 'inviting rape'. Does that not raise a few flags about the author herself? INVITING RAPE??? Rape is never invited and its totally symptomatic of a blame the victim mentality which shows that there is something disturbed about the writers perspective. I can't believe that so many people are missing this obvious insensitive point.

  14. Tara says – reply to this

    14

Re: Come On – maybe 'invite' rape was the wrong word but dressing like a whore definitely increases your chances of getting raped. You can't predict if you will be in a car accident, however, you can take measures to mitigate the risk of being in one: wear a seatbelt, don't drive drunk, use signals. You also can't predict if you will be raped. You have no idea who out there is or isn't a possible rapist. However, you can take some precautions to decrease your chance. Don't dress like a whore, always have a friend with you, don't go drinking alone with a bunch of guys you just met, don't allow yourelf to get pass-out/balck-out drunk with other guys.

  15. vikki28 says – reply to this

    15

Rihanna's reply was " way harsher"? The Jones article says that Rihanna's outfits "invite rape". There are few things more disgusting than saying someone deserves to be raped. I think you need to re-read the full article, Perez, and perhaps reconsider your opinion on this one. But I won't hold my breath.

Re: Kiyla – Kiyla I'm 14 years old and when I see Rihanna on television my parents told me and reminded me that the way she act is not appropriate….. your talking about people being role models yet you applaud a person calling another person a whore…. I'm not attacking you its just I know better and no one on television as swayed from what appropriate is or is not

One hundred percent agree with you Perez with fame comes certain obligations of being a role model. I do not buy that they do not know that before they chose their careers. I also do not understand when you are super rich why you got to post everything on the web??? I am broke and that's why I am on the web LOL If I were rich damn I would be doing stuff not flaunting bs

  18. 18

These people sit behind their computers and talk all kinds of shit all day long, and then expect their targets to take it on the chin! Of course it comes as absolutely no surprise that PH would take the side of the offending blogger. I suppose he has no choice seeing how he's one of the absolute worst offenders out there!

Rihanna stand up for your right. You and Chris Brown is under attack it's time for soul searching and getting your acts together.

Rihanna - we'd all take you seriously if you spoke proper English. You sound like a 16 year old gang member. Pretty sad.

  21. 21

The one good thing in all of this is that Rihanna admits that she has her own fucked up shit to work through. That she can see that for what it is is a good thing. That's really all I can say about it. I love her music and I'm always pulling for her to get her personal life on track. (As with everyone. I never wanna see anyone drowned.)

  22. Kiki says – reply to this

    22

The fact that Perez is telling someone else they ought to be a role model is quite a joke. Draw another heart on Zac Efron's crotch

  23. Tracy says – reply to this

    23

    Re: hey yall

I don't think dancing/gyrating is as much of the issue as acting like she's penetrating herself with a microphone on stage. The ironic thing is she leads this controversial persona, KNOWING that it's going to draw some feedback. So why act surprised when people voice their opinion of her? Like I said, I LOVE Rihanna, I am a fan.. but even fans are allowed to have minds of their own. It doesn't mean I will stop listening to her music, I just wish she would be more conscious of the little ears that are listening. P.S. I don't even HAVE kids, but I was a little girl once, and I KNOW how we look up to these super stars. And with a gift like that, I wish she would do something productive for women instead of destructive.

  24. 24

Great for the reporter for having an opinion but why wild you attack someone with such vulgar words?…she herself is no role model the way she talks about celebrities..why does she automatically think she can speak like that about somebody…she clearly is in the pubic eye as well so she would therefore be a rule model as well. Rihanna may have started off being a role model but girl has been through a lot…she even says herself she's fucked up….give her a damn break and put yourself in her position instead of attacking her like she supposed to be Mother Teresa!

  25. 25

SHE LOVES Ato trash other woman admittedly i laughed at this

  27. 27

Well if she's not trying to be a role model then she needs to start marketing to adults…Oh wait she can't because adults are too smart for that! Get over yourself Ri you aren't that hot you're 24. You aren't going to age well because you let people use your body which you already mistreat.

  28. @v@ says – reply to this

    28

It isn't 'her money' that pisses some people off. If fake sex with a mic in front of the entire audience on some stage is the price she has to pay for piles of cash, maybe it's too high a price. What about dignity? She would still make bundles without the sleaze in her act.She has hit after hit and can sing. The rest? It's not needed. She's charting in the ozone. If someone's choreographing the wtf bullshit, Ri can demand the level of decorum she wants on a stage, because she is the golden goose filling everyone's coffers. I hope she takes her power back. If doing that stuff is her idea? Then there's no point in caring at all or writing this.

  29. 29

Re: Tracy – Rhianna doesn't have a voice or any class.

  30. 30

That was genius! WOW RhiRhi stepped up for herself and wasn't going to the regualr celeb mum act on haters. That was intense but Rhi Rhi wasn't going to bite her tongue and keep quiet while this journalist reams her sentence after sentence. In fact it's been quite a defensive year for artists. RHi rhi doing this,Bieber defending himself at the billboard music awards. I like it. It's non filtered and raw and more real than cue card statements most celebs say. Role Model? how about parents being role models and censoring what they watch hear and read until they are 18 to understand it better.

  31. 31

I wasn't allowed to watch Madonna's erotica era at 6 yrs old until I was 18, when I did i was oh ok.

What I find hysterical in all of this is that one day this whorey dunce will go through menopause.
WHAT is it with young chicks who think "menopause" is just a fun nasty insult to throw upon older women they find threatening?
EVERY WOMAN GOES THROUGH IT! And if your self-esteem is in the toilet beforehand, good fucking luck.
This stupid ignorant bitch is nothing more than a braindead sloppy piece of C . U . N . T.
She's s disgrace. And I'm gonna laugh my ass off when she goes through menopause herself. Waste of frickin' space won't know what hit her.
    (Unless it was Chris.)

  33. Kansas says – reply to this

    33

And by the way… since when does calling a "toxic role model" a TOXIC ROLE MODEL, "bitter" ?
Why is Perez calling this journalist bitter?
She's telling the fucking truth: Rihanna is a toxic role model and pop's poisonous princess and the weakest and most pathetic excuse of a decent and intelligent young woman ever to turn our girls into thug bitches and…
oh, wait. THAT one's my opinion. And I'm not bitter.
I'm just looking at a 20-something piece of shit who's wasting her life, and watching millions of young girls waste it with her.
(And don't fight me with liberal "but she's a talented artist and young women these days are smart enough to tell the difference between SMUT and talent…" smooth-over politically-correct nice "but we're all great citizens in this great country turning our youth into productive and healthy adults" GARBAGE. OH PLEASE.

THIS BITCH IS A ROLE MODEL because she is in the public eye. Period.
There's no fucking checklist for celebrities that asks them, "Do you want to be one?"
    YOU ARE ONE, dipshitts!
Fucking dumb bitch is a bloody disgrace. And the women who support her instead of fighting the machine that's turning women in music into cheap skanks… you're fucking disgraces, too.

Here's a paraphrasing of this exchange:
Person A (The Journalist, aka a person smart enough to understand cause & effect):
"Your actions in the public eye have consequences. Your slutty behaviour is turning young women everywhere into uninformed and shameful whores who sell themselves short and exist only to please men and earn their validation."

Person B (Rihanna, aka uninformed and shameful whore):
"Oh yeah???? Well, you're old! And a stupid-pants!"

It IS the parents' job to raise their kids. If you think that's bullshit, perhaps you shouldn't be breeding, for the sake of humanity.

Well said Rhianna, whilst I am not a fan of you or your music I wholeheartedly agree with your rant and your right to rant. Liz Jones is an evil bint and I always give her pelters for her rubbishy articles in the Mail online. Can't stand her.

I got one word to describe Rihanna…..FILTHY FUCKING SCUM GUTTER TRASH!!! (Sorry 5 words)
Can Chris Brown please finish her off!?!
As a black woman, I am ashamed of her and her disgusting behavior.
Only hoodrat gutter scum would speak of money the way she did….disgraceful!

Guess what. Whether she says she is a role model or not, being a celebrity automatically makes you a role model. And if she didn't care so much why is she so angry? truth hurts
