Noah is the latest addition to the genre of biblical epics.

Yet, this Darren Aronofsky film has been closely guarded for quite some time. Lucky for us, the production has just released a set of character promos, including photos of Emma Watson, Russell Crowe, Logan Lerman, Jennifer Connelly, and Anthony Hopkins.

Ch-ch-check out the original photography (below)!!!

In a recent interview, Russell gave some insight into the film. He explained that Noah wasn't going to be a retelling of the children's version:

"The funny thing with people, they consider Noah to be a benevolent figure because he looked after the animals: 'Awww, Noah. Noah and the animals.' It's like, are you kidding me? This is the dude that stood by and watched the entire population of the planet perish."

He also added:

"He's not benevolent. He's not even nice. At one point in the story his son says, 'I thought you were chosen because you were good?' And he goes, 'I was chosen because I can get the job done, mate.'"

The film is set to be released March 28th of next year.

Be sure to tell us what U think!

I wonder if they will include the natural phenomenon of how the Black Sea flooded after the ice age, or will it strictly be the angry god myth?

Logan Lerman! Nice to see a good Jewish boy in an old testament movie.
