Elizabeth taylor-married 8X, Jennifer Lopez-married 3x, Halley Berry-married 2X, Larry King married-^X. So why is Kim Kardashian being targeted.

Anything that has Newt Gingrich on it has lost ALL credibility.

Newt Gingerich married 3 times. Left his first wife when she became ill with MS. Left second wife after cheating with third wife. He is not one to speak on marriage anyway anyhow. He's a pig.

Yes us "straight" people have not done much for the state of marriage. From what I see even more important than gay marriage is that gay couples have all rights afforded to them as a married couple. Was quite shocked to hear all the things that are not allowed and thinking how hurtful and wrong it was.

Re: Shanghai – Yes, I have had several gay friends over for dinner and so on. It is not nice that they have few rights. For example, when my husband was dying I was able to tell the hospital to take him off heroic measures. Gay people do not have that right from what I understand. Not sure about inheritance laws, health insurance, etc.

I hardly thought that was duking it out. I thought all 4 were pretty respectful. Perez you are trying to put drama where it isn't. I am gay and glad for the results from the Supreme Court, but for you to exaggerate a story is wrong.
