Jerry Seinfeld Being Sued For Violating The Civil Rights Act!

What's the deal with being sued?!?

That's what comedian Jerry Seinfeld would like to know! He and his wife, Jessica Seinfeld, are currently being named in a lawsuit that claims they violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964!

Now hold on! We do NOT have another Paula Deen doozy on our hands!

The Seinfelds are being accused of age discrimination during their search for a new housekeeper! Age discrimination, along with racial and gender discrimination, was made illegal in the landmark 1964 legislation.

According the plaintiff, Adrian Barrie Smith, Jerry and Jessica weren't interested in hiring anyone over 40!

Smith, a well-known recruiter who supplies maids, butlers and other household workers to some of the richest people in the world, was hired by the Seinfelds. He suggested they hire a 42-year-old woman who used to clean Robert De Niro's home.

Sounds like a good fit to us!

But according to Smith, the Seinfelds wanted nothing to do with her because she was too OLD!

Adrian Barrie Smith says having to tell his client why she lost the position hurt HIS reputation! But we also hear Mr. Smith is gaining a reputation for something else - SUING CELEBRITIES!

So far, he's sued several noted names in finance as well as Ellen Barkin's billionaire ex, Ron Perelman and even Mariah Carey!

What the WHAT?!?

Smith's lawsuit filed against the Seinfelds last week also claims they turned down a second cleaning candidate because, "she had a bit of a tummy."

We REALLY hope none of this is true, Jerry! Maybe you should call Mimi for some advice on how to beat this guy in court!

Sounds like they're lucky they didn't hire her and only have this issue. It could have been so much worse. The onus goes back to the recruiter for not knowing or ignoring her obvious lawsuit heavy past. Bad recruiter, bad

I blame the lawyers lobby who prevent changes in filing law suites
As it is now just about anybody can sue you, and the chance a billing them for your attorney fees, after they lose are zilch
Also we need to change laws that would allow some old fat ugly person to sue because they were not hired
Just think if Hugh Hefner had to hire fat ugly small breasted women to be his Bunnies, how long would he have survived

Even though this is a bogus lawsuit, I have never been able to tolerate Seinfeld and his wife ever since that trial over the plagiarized cookbook. They showed their true character there and it wasn't pretty.

They can hire whoever the hell they want. Nobody's business. THis "recruiter" is going to lose all of his business now. Who would trust this son of a bitch.

And Perez, that "we really hope none of this is true" comment is so ridiculous on so many levels I'm not even going to enumerate. Loser.

Bottom line is Seinfeld broke Federal-law apparently. You are not supposed to discriminate based on age, ethnicity, etc. How would Seinfeld feel if he was told he was too old to be on the Letterman Show. Wouldn't he be furious and sue ? Look at how he did go on Letterman and totally destroy that lady who wrote the cook book !!!!!! Not a nice guy in my opinion……..Love the show Seinfeld, but not the guy, or his wife.

Sue happy America. I still remember that video of the bus that bumped into a car and all the Americans grabbing their necks and rushing off the bus to high tail it to their lawyers. This is a bogus lawsuit and will undoubtedly be thrown out of court.

No one is talking about the HUGE discrimination problems with hiring people over 40 in this country, especially women. Companies refuse to hire women over 45. I've been told I'm "over-qualified" for almost every job I apply for. What can you do about that? Nothing!

    This is a nasty couple

Who plagiarize cookbooks and then step on the little guy using their money and fame. Will never think JS is funny again!

Are they looking for a maid or a threesome…but why is the company whom they hired telling the employees that they are not being hired because they're over 40 or have to much belly. If it's true, I think it's absolutely wrong. I thought that was the point in hiring someone else to do the dirty work. That's why celebrities use your company so you can be the bad guy no them.

please explain how they meet the 25 employee requirement of the act

Looks like it's time for Jerry to Trade-In that Old Hag Wife and get a newer model; she's not aging well at all, and she has unlimited amounts of cash to do so…

This golddigger only married him for his money. She traded in her ex because he wasn't rich enough and when she met Seinfeld she realized what kind of life she could have. She is set for life. He was too stupid to see this woman for what she truly is.
