Glee Noobs Upgraded To Series Regulars!

glee new cast members

We gave you the bad news first when we told you Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley, and Harry Shum, Jr. would not be back as regular cast members for Season 5 of Glee!

But now it's time for the good news!

Marley, Jake, Kitty, Ryder, and Unique (AKA Melissa Benoist, Jacob Artist, Becca Tobin, Blake Jenner, and Alex Newell) have all been promoted to series regulars!

Looks like the New Directions are going to be especially new this year! The youngins' may not be new to our musical hearts, but the sound without the vets' vocal chords sure will be!

Obviously we're still looking forward to the songs of New York-based Rachel (AKA Lea Michele) the most. Thankfully some vets are left! ;)

What about dreadlocks kid? I'd rather have him and the little Irish kid back on the show. Personally I think the shows done for either way. Last season wasn't that good with the regulars mostly gone.

What about Samuel Larsen? They give him a crappy SL the first go around, next to no SL this past year and yet runners up like Alex get to be regulars? Kinda pays not to win Glee Project. Plus I hated Jake and only mildly warmed up to Marley. Doesn't look like a great season shaping up :(

So we get even MORE of the romantic couple with the least amount of chemistry in the history of TV about teens, the angsty ken doll, the cartoon of a cheerleader, and the token "topical" kid? Whoopdie-flippin-doo…

Just when we thought it coundn't get worse than season 4, the writers/producers seems to prove us wrong. Season 4 was a joke and when once watching the last episode, I had to watch season 1 so I could remember why I fell in love with the show.
