awww i know how much that sucks. if he seems congested run a hot shower let it steam up and sit with him for a few minutes… <3

What Amanda said. Even if he's not congested, the moisture should help the cough a little and it's soothing! Also, Hyland's Tiny Colds and Tiny Coughs. They are homeopathic and work wonders (and their Teething Tablets have SAVED US!!).

My daughter is only two weeks younger than your son so I know how much is sucks! A few tips I've tried with my kids: one saline drop in each nostril, suction out his poor little nose a few times so it's not draining in the back of his throat, cool mist humidifier in his room at night, prop his mattress up with a beach towel so that he's upright, Baby Vicks on the bottom of his feet then put socks on (old wives tale!), and lots of cuddle time with Daddy! Hope you find something that works. Hang in there, Daddy! Sending love and healthy vibes your way :)

No wonder your not on the money with some of you stories. Your copying them from others: hollywoodlife. There sources are wrong.

Perez, you need to get over yourself. The only people who care about parenthood experiences in this detail are your family members.

I always made thyme tea (just what it sounds like, hot water with thyme seasoning in it, strained) and let it cool and gave to my little ones. hope he has some relief soon.

Put rosemary the cold mist humidifyer. Also, let the saline drain as long as you can - its really better if they sneeze it out. This is true parenting though - just hold him as he gets through it!

Hope he gets better, no tips since God did not see fit to bless me with children, just sending my best wishes to you and SweetPea.

Am a Grandma now, and when my little ones are sick, you just feel helpless, you want to do anything to make them feel better. sending you and your little one good vibes, just give him loves and kisses, and what ever the doc tells you and you both will get thru this together. :)

Keep him well hydrated and watch his temperature AFTER you see your pediatrician.
