Wendy Williams Makes Broadway Debut In Chicago!

When Wendy Williams is not dishing about Kanye West's parenting skills or lack thereof, she's belting When You're Good to Mama to a packed house!

This talk show host turned showstopping diva made her Broadway debut last night in Chicago, playing the role of Mama. We wonder if she stopped halfway through the musical to do an exclusive interview with the character of Velma for murdering her husband, but judging by the flowers she received at the end of the performance, we're sure she brought the house down!

You can usually catch Wendy on air at 11am on BET, and onstage through August 11th at the Ambassador Theatre! Break a leg, Wendy!

Wendy Sucks…Would Not Cast her in an off, off, off Broadway!,
Eddie from New York, New York
She Sucked So Bad…I guess she can at the very least check it off of her bucket List!! Would not see it for free let a lone pay money to see someone talk their way through a song that is to be sung…She was off key and talked "When Your Good To Mama!" Awful performance of Mama…She Is No Queen Latifah…
    Get off…off…off Broadway…Like yesterday!

Move over Wendy Williams… as far far away from Broadway as physically possible. I don't know who she is (not from USA), which makes it a lot easier to be unbiased in hearing her deplorable intonation and timing… she is not worthy of treading the Broadway boards.
So many truly talented and skilled artists out there who have worked their butts off their entire lives to get that part…
The mecca of theatre has been compromised… the who ever cast her and should be ashamed. There are better ways to get bums on seats. I want me money back!
