Gay Bashing Occurs After Pride Parade! Watch The Despicable Acts HERE!

LGBT rights took a huge step forward last week, but whenever there's progress, there's always a backlash from small-minded bigots.

After NYC's joyous Pride parade, two such neanderthals began verbally abusing and threatening some gay men on the subway.

When a concerned woman started filming the confrontation on her phone, that's when the violence started. The two men attacked the woman for her camera.

Luckily, there were enough goodhearted people on the subway car to protect her. And now we have the video evidence of the horrible acts. We hope it leads to the identification and prosecution of those responsible.

    Addendum: But aside from all that, this is what I've been saying to the LGBT community for years; the more open you are, the more parades you have, the more you scream for marriage, the more you REGISTER as married couples the easier it will be for violent homophobes to find you and kill you. Maybe not now, but in the years to come when hard working folks who can't pay the bills need a scapegoat. Gay and illegals will be the ones getting shot dead or worse.

    Let them be arrested and publicly identified. Public shaming along with being identified for being homophobic scum bags is what they deserve. Let's hope they lose their jobs as well, because any employer wouldn't want people associated with their businesses like this at all if they don't want to lose customers. True scumbags!

    Not only do these two hate gays but think nothing of putting their hands on women they don't know. I wouldn't be surprised at all if these two have rap sheets a mile long with assault and violence towards women. I shudder to think what their wives or girlfriends go through being with these two losers. Hopefully someone recognizes them and delivers some "street justice" ASAP

    As a New Yorker.. I hate to say it there are ghetto people that use their LGBT as a shield. They act loud and rude, they push and they bait you to battle them. Some even get physical…Then when you say something all of a sudden its discrimination. However that is a SMALL percentage of people who are abusing what happens tothe real good LGBT, the kind ones. The ones on the public transit that smile and compliment others. The ones that make me want to be a better person but I hate so say it once in a while rare… you will get one that is nuts and looking for a fight.

    I don't really see what the two men did that would warrant being arrested. They were yelling but so were the other people. The guy didn't like being filmed because its an invasion of his privacy and I think he had every right to go and knock the camera out of her hand. I would have been temped to do the same thing. The cops would laugh if someone turned these guys in, and ask what am I supposed to charge them with? Clearly there is no assault going on. Putting your hands on someone is wrong yes, but he didn't punch or hit anyone. If the police were to arrest him, the victim would need to have bruises and marks on her. There wouldn't be any in this case. Overall, I think both parties were wrong and that saying "it takes two to tango" would be accurate in this case. I think no matter what sexual preference someone has, they should not be taunted and ridiculed….and on the same token, I think that gays need to be respectful when in public and not sexual in public …kissing etc…(I think the same for straight people), because things like that are inappropriate and offensive exposing children to adult activities.

    The same sort of sh$t happens in the Castro. These ignorant sons of bushes have the audacity to come into our neighborhoods. Just last month a guy died after being attacked. Why are people so horribly brutal? No gay person ever starts this madness. Its always insecure, probably latent homosexuals who do this kind of stuff. Please my LGBT brothers ans sisters though we've come along way in 40 years….BE CAREFUL! Keep your camera phones handy to capture this sh$t.

    I also live nearby and intend to put up posters of these homophobes all along the subway. I'm straight, and I've had it with the current uptick in gay bashing in NYC of all places!

    Not having it. This city is supposed to be a beacon of freedom and tolerance for all, and I'll be damned if these things keep happening. Totally reporting these creeps if I see them and will be urging others to do the same.

    Might be time to make some flyers for the subway…

The video shows there clearly was no real assault going on, just people screaming at each other and the one incident of the man outting his hands on her shoulder neck area. (he was wrong to do that, but he wouldnt be arrested for that because it wasnt violent enough. People are only charged with hate crimes when a "crime" happens. Dont mix the two up. Hate crimes are dragging a gay behind a moving car, or setting them on fire, etc. a "crime" has to occur. Freedom of speech that someone disagrees with is not a hate crime, its just two people disagreeing with each other's views and such is allowed in America. Sorry but the police wont do anything with these guys, there is no crime to charge them with.

    First off they probably LEARNED this attitude at the knees of their parents but I have to say any time I see hate like this for another person/race/sexual preference I think it is because they are exactly what they are screaming against….in this case gay and they are so scared of that part of their personality and never resolved that issue satisfactorily. Also I would expect a 5 year old child to have more respect than this man showed…shameful.

    "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness". This was our founding fathers fought for when they started America. You bringing your religion into this is telling free men and women they do not have the right to be happy. Need I mention we are technically suppose to keep Religion and Government SEPARATE….Yea so get over your self, with your "beliefs" in your invisible "god" and all that blah blah blah….We as a society need to allow people of all kinds freedom and live, and be happy. Even if it goes against what we believe, no one is forcing you to like it. No one is forcing you to agree, but stopping them from being happy is just as bad as having slaves years ago.

    While I do NOT agree with their actions, people are allowed to agree with others lifestyles. They have the right to not agree with gays, and visa versa. They never should have attacked anyone, just move on. Don't agree with it, then move on. It sounds to me Perez, that youre setting these 2 individuals for another confrontation. The whereabouts should only be for the NYPD, not the public. Two wrongs don't make a right.

    Yes, we do live in America where everyone can have an opinion (even if it's horribly closed-minded and disgusting like these two). However, you can also not lay your hands on someone else to take their property like this low-life did when grabbing for the camera. You are on a public subway -if your behavior is so outrageous in public that you don't want it recorded…maybe take a look at your behavior. I do think that the woman yelling at the end was doing nothing to help the situation. These are two aggressive hateful men - you are not going to change their small minds by yelling on a train. It's just a shame that a great event was tarnished by this encounter.
