Sophia Loren is set to take a starring role in a film, the first time in almost a decade!

In her first acting role in 3 years, Sophia is going to star in a film directed by her own son. Yeah gurrl! Keep it in the family!

The movie, La Voce Umana (The Human Voice) is based on The Voice a one-woman play by the French writer, Jean Cocteau, and will take place in Rome, Naples, and Ostia.

Best of luck, Sophia! It'll be great to see you the big screen once again!

I really question if this is a good idea
I'M guessing that she is around 80 ?
and even if the can get her with lighting, make up wigs etc to look good, she is still going to have the mind of an 80 year old woman (think Ruth Bader Ginsburg)
Does anyone remember seeing poor old Mae West at 83 in Sextet
In her day, Sophia was so hot, so talented, wish she would leave us with those memories

When I was a teenager back in the 60's this was one of the hottest women on earth. Now?..I'm scared. Life is cruel..I'm not doing any better..Oh, ow. Gray hair and wrinkles really piss me off. All you young people, think it will last forever? Hahahahahaha..Look at Mick Jagger just about to turn 70, hahahahhaaha, wigs and weight control can't hide the wrinkles and sags. Oh, ow. Poor Sophia, I do still see her as she was back then. And myself too. Oh, who am I kidding? Aging is cruel!
