It's official — there's a new king in morning news!!!
For only the second time in nearly two decades, Good Morning America tallied higher viewership numbers this quarter than NBC's flailing competitor, Today.
Even more impressive? The ABC program's margin of victory!!!
Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos helped GMA secure outstanding ratings in the 25-54 news demographic, and their show posted the biggest advantage over Today in total-viewership numbers in 21 years!!!
While this is great news for all the fine folks at ABC, the suits over at NBC must be going ballistic because this is the second quarter in a row GMA took home the title!
So why do U think Matt Lauer's ship is sinking so swiftly?
Do viewers better connect with GMA's anchors, guests, and features?!
Or is this continued fallout from the disastrous Ann Curry dismissal and Olympics debacle?
