Oh Canada! You've hurt Breezy's feelings!

Chris Brown went on the defensive this weekend after a major Canadian sponsor dropped out of a concert he was scheduled to perform at BECAUSE he was going to perform!

Dayum! Looks like they really don't dig Chris Brown!

Now, Chris's camp is coming out saying they don't know the first thing about him! He's ACTUALLY a really nice guy! Brown's rep said of the R&B star:

"It's a shame that some people are so short-sighted and uninformed. Chris is an award-winning artist whose goal is to inspire and entertain. He engages in many philanthropic endeavors to support his community and communities worldwide including the Jenesse Center Domestic Violence Intervention Program, Best Buddies, AIDS Project Los Angeles, Kids Wish Network, Get Schooled and Home Again. Chris strives to learn from his past and to grow as a person, as we should all do."

Um, sure. That's an impressive list of charitable endeavors. But is Chris Brown learning from his past or just plain forgetting it?

Look, we sincerely hope that Chris Brown can stay out of trouble for the rest of his life and do nothing but be the entertainer that he was born to be! But no one can deny that this guy is BFFs with trouble!

And this sponsor clearly just wants to stay OUT of trouble! Sorry Breezy, but this is the price you pay for being bad!

The group putting on the concert is sticking with Brown though and plans to keep him in the show's lineup. They issued a statement saying:

"Chris brown is a multi-platinum, award winning, international artist and we are pleased to be welcoming him to Canada. Although Chris is as controversial as he is talented, there is no denying that he is one of the biggest, boldest, chart-topping names in the music industry today. With the momentum of Chris's new album set to release this Fall, we have full confidence these Canadian performances will in fact be very well received."

Nothing sells tickets like a little controversy, right???

Premiering next week on VH1's Where Are They Now, Chris Brown and Justin Beiber, which will be their lowest rated episode ever….not sorry I deleted every track by these 2 stains on society and don't feel guilty at all for downloading them for free either

"people are so short-sighted and uninformed" Aren't the people behind the celebrity supposed to have some common sense? If Chris Brown was an ordinary member of the public he would still be in jail right now for what he did to his girlfriend but no, he's still allowed to be out and act like a spoilt brat complaining why everyone is so mean to him and judging him as if he'd only just been caught pulling him trousers down in public or something like that. He really needs to grow up and take responsibility for himself. He'll find people much more pleasant to him if he did.

I honestly don't know how he'll manage to sell tickets to this concert… It's a Nova Scotia concert, as it is we don't get many big names here because it's hard to get the amount of people to buy enough tickets to pay these performers and make the event worthwhile. Also, as someone in the age demographic Chris Brown is targeted at, I don't know anyone who would actually pay to see him…

Can't blame the sponsors for dropping out of something that is going to do nothing but make them look bad.

and three more sponsors dropped out today because he is coming.

As a someone in the Canadian city in question he does not only have to deal with a sponsor dropping out but there's now a petition to not let him preform. The sponsor dropped out because of the public out cry and I can't say I blame them. I can forgive people who have shown that they deserve forgiveness but he hasn't really shown much of that with his behaviour towards things such as fighting with Frank Ocean and even Drake. Clean up your act Chris and maybe things like this wouldn't happen

No one is short sighted and uninformed. The general public, who are well aware of his history and disagree with what happened with Rihanna swamped the sponsor with negative protest, so the sponsor looks to have considered it and made a decision to pull out.

At least that's what I read. He's going to have to fly right for a long time before he gets the big pass from everyone, is all.

Chris Brown settling down with Rihanna would have yielded dividends beyond your wildest imagination! But, your unbridled lust, lies, sexual encounter with the hoes undermined your relationship with a woman who deeply loved and respected you. Chris Brown you will live to regret the decision and hate yourself for the rest of your life. more.
