Brad Pitt Stands For Good While Michael Fassbender Is Pure Evil In 12 Years A Slave Trailer!

| Filed under: Brad PittFilm FlickersMichael Fassbender

An all-star cast is turning out some of the best performances we've seen all year in the new trailer for the upcoming film 12 Years A Slave!

This movie is a POWERFUL retelling of the true story of Solomon Northup and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as a man whose freedom is taken from him in the pre-Civil War United States.

The film also reunites Michael Fassbender with his Shame director Steve McQueen! This time, Fassbender is playing the part of pure evil as the man who enslaves Solomon.

Brad Pitt appears in the trailer as Fassbender's challenger and Solomon's champion. Rounding out the cast is Alfre Woodard, Paul Dano, Paul Giamatti, Michael K. Williams, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sarah Paulson, Quvenzhané Wallis, and Lupita Nyong'o!

Wow. Talk about talent!

Finally, an Antebelleum South era movie that is told from the slave's point of view. Brovo to all concerned.

Looks good from the trailer, and has a good cast, I really like Alfre Woodard.

The best performances we've "seen" "all year" and a "POWERFUL retelling?" Did i miss something? Did this movie already come out? Some people are already trying to hand the ENTIRE cast their best actor Academy Awards as well. Did the Academy vote already? Where can I find articles about them changing the Academy format to include co-wins, three-way and four-way wins for best actor Oscars, etc. Gee, you get busy on important real life things, turn your back for a second, get a short break, so you go see what kind of frivolous nonsense is going on in la la land… and BAM! all the rules of mankind and the Universe have been suddenly changed by this one movie that is apparently going to change life (as we know it) on Earth…whew! Is it still playing in theaters? Or is it too late to catch it? Will the public actually get to see it? Or is it way too IMPORTANT of a movie to waste on an actual public audience? More importantly, will CNN be televising the Red Sea…uh…I mean…Red River… parting?
