Cory Monteith Attended AA Meetings Within Days Of Tragic Death

cory monteith went to aa meetings before death

Amidst the sorrow surrounding Cory Monteith's death, confusion concerning the cause still lingers.

Was it really a drug overdose? Or complications with his cardiovascular system??

According to a friend of Cory's, he was diligently fighting the addiction all the way up his death by constantly attending AA meetings, even when traveling, as he attended many in Vancouver.

The friend reveals:

"Cory went to AA meetings when he got to Vancouver with some friends of his and mine. It is so tragic that he is being portrayed as drinking heavily [in the days leading up to his death], as it wasn't apparent he was intoxicated at all."

With more and more clues coming forward, it would appear as though Cory's death was the result of natural complications. As to whether or not those complications stem from his history with drugs, we're still waiting on the final word from the investigation.

Regardless of the cause, Cory was a strong man who used his platform to warn others of the dangers of his disease, and he should be respected and remembered as the loving individual he was — not for his personal battles. We miss him so much…

This guy was a mess - I live in Calgary and have partied with him when he was younger in his Vancouver days. He was ALWAYS the one who wanted to go the hardest. Not that in those days I didn't either. We were all doing coke and E like it was going out of style. It was super fun but from the sound of it he never fully cleaned his act up! I only smoke weed now, thank god. RIP dude :( So sad

Was it really a drug overdose?

You don't know ANYTHING about his death. Why do you prey on him, and spread baseless rumors while his family is still in ahoxk from his death?

This guy's death is turning into a likes goldmine for you on FB. Only thing is that it's the same hundred people liking your posts and all your fake accounts. Since you couldn't have him you're going to exploit him and benefit all the while.

Cory fought so hard and he didn't lose his battle, regardless of how he died.

The love he left behind proves that.

Re: gleek4life – The coroner issued a statement that it was a combo of heroin and alcohol that killed him. Really sad.
Hey the 12 steps do not work for everyone but they worked for my cousin. She woke up early on morning hungover and sleeping in bushes and said "enough is enough". Has been clean for a long time now.
