I'm all for kids expressing themselves. I never stop my son grabbing the pink tutu in the dress up box (he's 3) but I wouldn't let him wear it to school etc, or his Spider-Man suit or his buzz light year. Maybe these kids see this purely as dress up and not a gender issue. maybe they would havebjust as much fun at a superhero camp.bMy son went through a stage of wearing a cowboy hat everywhere for about 3 months…I didn't buy him a horse! Why do we have to push grown up issues on such young children.bstop stereotyping babies…let them decide who'll they'll be when they're ready…

wow…that would actually be amazing for my 9 year old. We are lucky in that he likes himself enough to not give a fuck what other kids say, but, I figure that can't actually last forever, being with other kids who are like him could help.

Re: Kelly – It's pretty obvious that you have never dealt with this so you seriously have no clue, but, it's not stereotyping, it IS letting them decide when they are ready. I do not know a single trans individual who didn't know by the time the were in kindergarten, saying that they are too young to know is very harmful.
