Don't we all!!!
Claire Danes has killed it for two seasons (soon to be three) as manic but mad-smart CIA operative Carrie Mathison on Showtime’s Homeland.
But as a teenager in the 90s she played manic and madly in love Juliet to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Romeo in the 1996 Baz Luhrmann adaptation of Shakespeare's play.
Turns out the two had a chance to rekindle their relationship 15 years later when Claire auditioned to play the part of secretary Helen Gandy to Leo's J. Edgar Hoover in the 2011 film J. Edgar, around the same time Homeland came along.
Claire reveals how she decided between the roles:
“I was like, ‘Do I want to play the secretary to the boss man or do I want to be the boss man?’ I want to be the boss man.”
We get it, gurl! Good for you!
But should you ever get another opp for a role where you make out with Leo as the boss man, you let us know.
We’d DEF be willing to take it off your hands! LOLz!!!
