Remember that scene in the movie Crash where Thandie Newton's character flips her car over and needs Matt Dillon, the racist cop,
to rescue her before everything goes up in flames? But then she realizes who he is and starts FAH-reaking out?
Hmm. Funny how life imitates art and sometimes.
George Zimmerman, the accused killer of Trayvon Martin, is making headlines AGAIN. But this time, he's done something rather heroic!
According to Florida police, Zimmerman was one of two men who helped rescue a family of four trapped in their overturned SUV after crashing on the highway!
The accident occurred less than one mile from where Zimmerman fatally shot Trayvon in Sanford, Florida!
How eery is THAT?
When police arrived, the father, mother and two children involved in the crash had all been pulled to safety, thanks in part to George Zimmerman.
Hey, we have to give credit where credit it due. If George Zimmerman really DID save the lives of these people, he should be commended for his bravery.
But this doesn't even come CLOSE to clearing his name.
The whereabouts of Zimmerman had been unknown following the not guilty verdict of his murder trial. The 29-year-old was thought to be in hiding. The entire Zimmerman family have reportedly been receiving death threats now from those angry about the jury's decision.
But apparently, Mr. Zimmerman was in the right place at the right time last week! We're happy to see someone who at one time did something so horrible actually do something GOOD!
