Why is it suddenly OK to kill sharks?

  2. 2

I agree with every single other comment thus far, this was senseless. Wheelchair or not, this animal should have been set free.

First; NO ONE SHOULD BE FISHING FOR SHARKS; not even the handicap! And yea, I said handicap! He must be if he didn't know how valuable they are to the ocean's habitats! Second, this is a nurse shark… What did he use as bate, spinach? This fish is harmless and I feel so bad for it! Fucking humans all need to die! We're just infesting & killing this planet and it serves us EVERY FUCKING RIGHT TO DIE OFF IN MASS EXTINCTION!

Oh My God - when are we going to find the moral bone in our bodies and use our f—cking frontal lobes and stop killing the beautiful creatures on this planet. Our species sickens me. Stop it people. These are living creatures and they were not here for your amusement.

shark numbers are dwindling across the planet but this death is a celebration cause a kid in a wheelchair caught it?!!! I THINK NOT!!! You would think that both the parents and child would put a little more value on life.

Re: TruthSpeaker – I agree if this was a nurse shark he should have done catch and release (unless the fish was too badly hooked). Gosh people pay $125pp plus tip to snorkel with these beautiful animals off Isla Mujeres. I was there in May, the season started the day after I landed, but it was a little early for the whale sharks.
