David Cross and Amber Tamblyn are comic actors — but the women’s health issues the Gynoticians are stirring up in Texas right now are no laughing matter!

And these two have something to say about it!

The husband and wife have teamed up in this funny and provocative vid to give a taste of the sock-puppet doctor world that could ensue with Texas' newly signed anti-abortion laws.

But we'd rather keep socks out of our hoohas and on our feet where they belong, thank you very much, Gov. Rick Perry!

Watch, learn, and make change HAPPEN!!!

Check it outttttttt …AFTER THE JUMP!!!

They are trying to make this as safe as possible for women and are being met with hysteria. I honestly do not understand. Especially after learning the atrocious facts behind the Kermit Gosnell case, which most of the mainstream media chose not to cover. Texas wants to end most abortions from 26 weeks to 20 weeks due to research indicating fetuses feel pain at that point in a pregnancy. They want the doctor that preforms the abortion to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital, and to require that clinics meet the same standards as other surgical healthcare facilities. They are trying to make this as safe as possible. Please, someone explain to me how this is not a good thing.

I am a woman who is proud to be from the great state of Texas, where we care about the safety of women, and about the life of unborn children!

I am prochoice. I think it is irresponsible of the media and celebrities to be calling the law in Texas an anti-abortion law. It does not ban abortions. The bill makes abortions 20 weeks and earlier safer. It requires doctors to have admitting privileges at a local hospitals. Honest discussions on both sides are more productive.
