Her album didn't "change music," you dumb ass. It was typical 80s music, and was what many others were doing at the same time. She just marketed herself better. It's her SUCCESS that has inspired others, not her talent, because the truth is that she's more of an entertainer than a singer. Her voice is so-so at best. Stop licking her vag, because she's not going to grant you an interview. You're so far beneath her it's ridiculous, and even her misguided support of homos won't get you what you want. Asshole.

That album didn't change music. It wasn't even a breakthrough album (LIKE A VIRGIN was) The music on there was already out there at the time (see Teena Marie, Evelyn "Champagne" King, etc.). The only thing she changed was the way female artists market themselves (the whole sex sells thing).

I bet neither of you two F@GS were even born when this album came out.

It was the 80s, and someone like her was told to start fllng'n her tits all over the place….she has no real talent, other than her advisors marketed her really really well. Truth is, she should be a cashier @ WAL*CRAP in Livonia, Michigan, married to a 350 lb. fugly dude who snaps on wheel covers on jeeps all day, and drinks a lot of beer….just say'n…

I still think this was her best album

That was actually her last consistently good album (I'm sure all the Ray Of Light and Confessions fanboys will disagree), before she sold her soul to the Devil. A lot of balls and spunk on that album that I haven't really heard much on any other album since then by her. Every song on there was good, and even though it sounds dated, still sounds fresh. Even the album cover stands the test of time. Every album by her since then has been a few good songs and the rest filler. Was it a game changer? Nah…SHE'S SO UNUSUAL by Cyndi Lauper was a lot more groundbreaking and even influenced Madonna on her 2nd album. But MADONNA, SHE'S SO UNUSUAL, and LET THE MUSIC PLAY by Shannon were the quintessential albums in my collection at that time.

PS. I will say EROTICA a very underrated gem in her catalog, comes close to her debut as being consistently good.

Madonna inspired people like Debbie Gibson, Paula Abdul, and Britney Spears..artists with really no substance. Sure people will say they admire her, but they admire her tenacity and determination, as well as her success. But hardly anyone ever talks about her music, which always seemed incidental, and was often accompanied by dazzling videos that were better than the songs themselves. The perfect entertainer for the video age, she came out at the right time. She definitely has chutzpah to be such a huge seller when her music is subpar to other female artists out there not half as successful.

    Re: Santi
Give specific examples of how she changed the world for gays or women instead of talking out your ass. Madonna didn't change shit. She was part of a culture that was already changing. And no one has had a 30 year career? I guess you never heard of Barbra Streisand or Cher or Springsteen or U2 or Dolly Parton or Frank Sinatra or……………..
