Drama, drama, drama.
If you want to be friends with Oprah Winfrey (and really, who doesn't?!?) there's one word she better NEVER hear come out of your mouth!
"You cannot be my friend and use that word around me. I feel strongly about [the n-word]. I always think of the millions of people who heard that as their last word as they were hanging from a tree."
One of Winfrey's good pals even had to be sat down and spoken to about his use of the word! Director Lee Daniels!
Lee is bringing Oprah back to the big screen in their upcoming movie The Butler. But he needed to be told to clean up his language by the Queen of Talk herself! Lee explained:
"It’s a word I used quite a bit, until Oprah sat me down and talked to me about its power."
We're glad Lee learned his lesson! After all, you always want to stay on O's good side!
Earlier this month, one of Oprah's co-stars from The Color Purple ruined ANY chance she had of grabbing a friendly lunch with Winfrey! During a radio interview, Rae Dawn Chong referred to Miss O as a "field n*gger."
Take our advice, Lindz. Do NOT use the N-word when you sit down with Oprah next month!
