Oprah Doesn't Allow Her Friends To Use The N-Word! Who Did She Demand Stop Using The Slur?

If you want to be friends with Oprah Winfrey (and really, who doesn't?!?) there's one word she better NEVER hear come out of your mouth!

The N-word!

The Big O says it doesn't matter the color of one's skin or the neighborhood they come from — that word is NOT allowed to be uttered around her! Oprah recently said about the slur:

"You cannot be my friend and use that word around me. I feel strongly about [the n-word]. I always think of the millions of people who heard that as their last word as they were hanging from a tree."

One of Winfrey's good pals even had to be sat down and spoken to about his use of the word! Director Lee Daniels!

Lee is bringing Oprah back to the big screen in their upcoming movie The Butler. But he needed to be told to clean up his language by the Queen of Talk herself! Lee explained:

"It’s a word I used quite a bit, until Oprah sat me down and talked to me about its power."

We're glad Lee learned his lesson! After all, you always want to stay on O's good side!

Earlier this month, one of Oprah's co-stars from The Color Purple ruined ANY chance she had of grabbing a friendly lunch with Winfrey! During a radio interview, Rae Dawn Chong referred to Miss O as a "field n*gger."

Of course, Oprah has yet to comment on that hate-filled brouhaha. She's got Lindsay Lohan questions to write!

Take our advice, Lindz. Do NOT use the N-word when you sit down with Oprah next month!

What's sad about this is that the majority of the comments here attack her for hating a racial epithet, question the number of blacks lynched in America (yes, her number is way off, but really, is nearly 5000 any better?) or attack her for being heavy. What is wrong with some of you people? Also, in regards to the article, I'm sure there are better reasons not to use the n-word other than being on Oprah's good side, like, I don't know, not utilizing racist language?

She sat down and had a talk with him. Paula deen gets nails to the cross. Oprah is cool!

Good for her. I always wondered why African Americans had no problem using the N word themselves, yet thought it was the most horrible thing ever if anyone else used it. No matter what color your skin, I would think it would be degrading someone to refer to them in that manner.

I agree with Oprah on this lot of people feel justified using that word because of their color of skin but have no right since they never been through that experience . It really sad to think that because of your color of skin you can be ignorant . If you were a slave in that era then you should use it if not then stop .I doubt any intelligent African American should be using this . It's an awful word

Something tells me that the type of people that associate with Oprah aren't the type to go around casually dropping the N-word.

Well, it was either going to be Oprah or Bill Cosby to say it, but it had to be said by somebody black and it's about time. It's a bad word no matter WHO SAYS IT. Thank you Oprah for speaking out.

I think it is a horrible word. Rappers, white southern cooks, racist people…all should stop using the word. Oprah, just like Ellen are wonderful people that set a good example.

    Oprah sounds really controlling!

Hypocrite much. Go away old cow. Disgusting. I hope you die soon….

  14. 14

Oprah is a hypocritical asshole. I wouldn't let that lard ass darkie censor me. She can shut her ears, shut her mouth, and endure whatever I feel I should say.
Re: Quenepa – The dumbest person here is YOU. Is that the best response you can come up with? Is that what passes for clever with you? You are a shining example of MENTAL MIDGET. I don't think you could've been more unoriginal if you tried. Please stop breathing, because you're too stupid to continue to exist.

I wonder if Lee will lose all his sponsors now. This shit is so unfair, poor Paula. PS I never liked Paula Deen but that doesn't mean what happened to her was fair.

So, is she not friends with Jay-Z?
