Mama Bear's gotta protect her baby!!

Lynn Bynes has requested a closed courtroom for her conservatorship hearing Friday, where sensitive medical information concerning Amanda Bynes has the potential to be discussed in full disclosure.

It's clear that something serious is going on with MandaPanda, as a judge ordered her 5150 hold to continue.

And a source confirms:

"Much of the testimony that will take place during Lynne’s attempt to become Amanda’s temporary conservator, will deal with sensitive medical information about the actress. Lynn will testify about Amanda’s sad downward spiral, and Amanda herself could even take the stand. The last thing Amanda needs is the media dissecting her every movement and what she could potentially say."

Well as much as we'd love to be a fly on the wall, we really admire Lynn's determination to keep the most personal business of her baby gurl sealed and private.

And you know we're on Lynn's side!

A conservatorship is exactly what Amanda needs to get better and go back to a thriving life, full of joy and positive tweets! Ha!

Hope the Judge releases Amanda with certain guidelines she has to follow. No way should her parents be granted a Conservatorship.

She needs her parents to have conservatorship over her that's 100% obviously.

Whatever happens, I hope the judge makes sure that that record company that seems to be injecting itself into the fray at the moment does not get their hands on Amanda. They smack of opportunists without Amandas best interests at heart.

Been going through the ordeal of obtaining Conservatorship of a needy loved one and it is so difficult and painful. Plus outraveously costly. My heart goes out to all involved. The Bynes Parents have my respect. I thank God Amanda's folks are a team. The request for Health Information privacy will be honored. Dear God. Please help Amanda become as healthy as possibe. Scitzophrenic faces show no emotion wbich is the opposite of the animated young lady we watched grow up. I long to see her beautiful smile again and hope her personality returns.

Our family has been there, and conservatorship saved our son's life.
He, too, has schizophrenia and we have witnessed the change from animation to the illness symptoms that do include "blunt affect" and life-threatening decisions.

Conservatorship is based on trust and responsibility, not on control. Guidelines are respectful. I applaud the Bynes for fighting for the right to help, and the right to privacy.

The myth of "mental illness" is the way people in power oppress people from being free. Conservatorship is the last and firmest step on the liberty of a person who dares to be different. The normalizing judgment of "mental wellness" threatens the liberty of Californians and of the world. Fortunately, California's conservatorship regime is quite robust and provides important procedural protections to respondents.
