AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! I love pretty much everything Oliver puts out, and of course I'm a big fan of Chromeo. Match made in heaven!

Donna Summer got so many great songs ~ some great DJ's got inspired over the time with her work or her loud voice so fans need a good remix album !

Love me some donna summer but this remix is dull and not fresh at all…kind of drags… the original had much more energy. I'm hoping they release a ton of music from the vaults. She always used to say they recorded dozens of songs everytime she released an album.

Don't think Donna Summer would have approved.

    Re: joey
I agree joey. This mix is not bad but average on the dance meter. I like the original much better as well. More high energy and soulful. New version is a bit bubble gum compared to the first one.

It's not a great mix, but it's good enough that I would add it to my music collection. I wish the mix had included the song's bridge and Donna's 'Michael Jackson-like' whoo hoos. Other than that, I would buy it. Hope I can one day soon.

OK. took me awhile. I think I got it. Standard covers are new voices over old songs. But in this case Donna Summer”s beautiful voice is like an instrument and the DJ mix are different "voice" over it. Hopefully it brings an even more modern feel to her wonderful songs. And set the momentum for more songs from the vault. Look forward to these remixes of her anthems and also less known hits.
