Real World AIDS Activist Sean Sasser Dies At 44

Sean Sasser, AIDS activist and former reality TV star, has died at age 44.

America knew him as Pedro Zamora’s boyfriend on MTV’s The Real World: San Francisco, back in the early 90s.

Pedro passed away soon after the show stopped filming, but Sean lived on to work for many political and social organizations and became a known AIDS activist.

Sean succumbed to mesothelioma yesterday, which has been linked to weakening the immune system of someone with AIDS.

This man shared his health issues to educate millions of young Americans about the horrible disease, and passed way too soon.

If this doesn't shed some light on how HIV and AIDS is still a huge issue, we don't know what will!

We're sure anyone surviving Sean is undoubtedly proud.
