Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, students from Kazakhstan and college friends of the accused Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, were just indicted by a grand jury on charges of obstruction of justice today, according to the U.S. Attorney's office for Massachusetts.

The pair are being accused of removing Dzhokhar's backpack containing fireworks, and his laptop from his dorm room, after the FBI released pictures of Dzhokhar and his brother in order to discover their identities.

Dias and Azamat already potentially face 5 years in prison, having been previously charged with conspiracy, and if convicted of obstruction of justice for helping to hide evidence, they could serve an additional 20 years.

The two are currently in federal custody and await trial.

This news reminds us of that sad day in April, a tragedy that still is so fresh in our minds and hearts. So sad.

Very glad to hear this! I was wondering when the justice dept. would nail the little pukes.

What I really want to know is why we never hear from the normal, everyday Islamics about this stuff. Why aren't the standing up and condemning this terrorist crap? Why do they remain silent when this stuff happens. Why aren't they exposing the radical element and hammering them like any fundementalist of any religion should be? How are so called normal kids lured into this shady religion that is basically a hate group. They hate gays, they hate women they hate everything.

Don't know much about them, but if true, hope the feds nail them. It is also a lot harder to get an early parole from a federal prison from what I have read.

    Re: Ali

Every organized religion is basically a hate group then since they all hate gays and all have given men a sense of superiority in one way or another. And they did speak about it. They compared radical islam to the westboro church. It just sucks that there is so much hate and ignorance in all people in general.
