Amanda Bynes 'Gravely Disabled!' Doctors Granted EMERGENCY Conservatorship!

| Filed under: Legal MattersAmanda BynesMental Health

amanda bynes psychiatric evaluation extended for 30 days

As scary as this may seem now, we truly feel it's for Amanda Bynes' best interests in the long-run.

We've just learned that a judge actually traveled TO the hospital Friday after doctors explained that she was too unwell to make the trek to the courthouse herself — escorts or not!

After reviewing the matter at hand, the judge granted doctors an emergency conservatorship which extends the psychiatric hold for another 30 days. Based on the law books, the judge must have found Miz Bynes "gravely disabled" from a mental disorder to rule such permission.

While Amanda was supposed to attend a hearing today concerning her parents' request for a conservatorship, that opportunity was obviously (and forcibly) missed. Rick and Lynn will continue to pursue their case, however, as it will stay in effect until September 30.

Wow. How unfortunate. It really makes me wonder about her earlier years. How was this not something she displayed growing up? This cannot just be something random. Get well Amanda!

Good, she clearly needs help. Mental illness is no joke. hopefully the media lays off her for a while.

Shouldn't the plastic surgeon who did work on her eyes & nose a few weeks ago have his license suspended & be under investigation for performing cosmetic surgery on someone who is mentally unstable?

Re: Tash – For many people who suffer from severe mental disorders, like schizophrenia, they don't display signs until their late teens, to early 30's.

Re: Tash – schizophrenia, which i believe she will be or has been diagnosed with, usually manifests itself in people's 20s. it is rare in children.

I sincerely hope she gets help. They got to her just in the nick of time, too. It's always almost too late when people step in…We need better mental health laws.

I wish her the best!! My heart sincerely goes out to her and her loved ones. It was sad watching her deteriorate and see so many people throw stones at her, antagonizing her when you could clearly see something was terribly wrong. People don't act normal and classy for what…26 years of their life and then fall apart for no reason. I always respected her for staying out of the media for garbage, she was one of the rare few, so it was really sad to see. My kids grew up watching this young lady and I truly wish her the best. She was the cutest little thing on the Amanda Show. Get well soon little lady…

No one gets into that many car accidents. Based upon everything I have been reading about her google "targeted individuals". Organized car accidents are only part of the bullshit.

Thank those who have kind words for Amanda. I've always loved her work. She made me laugh! What a precious gift to give others in this world! I hope people will pray and be supportive of her, especially the media. I think they may find that it's schizophrenia, which ruthlessly attacks people in their youth, between the ages of 16 and 30, through no fault of their own. It breaks my heart. One day you are living your life, the next you are just lost in mental confusion, paranoia and more. Blessings and prayers for her and her family and may she receive the best care possible. Get well Amanda! We love you and we miss you!
