I grew up with Gia. I'm speechless and taken back by all of this and do not understand. What I do know is that heaven is lucky to have such an angel around them. Gia, the world will miss you dearly.

I wanted Jake to pick her so badly. But I changed my vote to Vienna when all the girls were against her (Vienna). I tend to root for the underdog. Perez you said it was suicide. I would never think she would do this. She was so happy and sweet.

Can the bachelor people please stay out of the media when this happens . So sick of hearing what these reality losers have to say. She was a sick woman and no one even saw it coming. Stop declaring yourselves as her friends.

For anyone struggling with someone who has lost a loved one from suicide, read This woman lost 4 family members to suicide. She has some good insights.

RIP Gia - So sad to think anyone could ever get to such a dark place and not think there is any other way out of it. My thoughts and prayers are with all who personally knew her.

The fact that she has been 'modelling' since was a Gerber baby and since then her whole life has been about a stage mom pushing her to be in the limelight it is a lesson for all stage/helicoptwr moms that have highjacked their child's chance for developing a strong inner sense of self love.

I understand how she felt. I attempted suicide many times and have been hospitalized multiple times. No one knew I was going to try til they found me. The depression we go through, the feelings of worthlessness. and the loneliness is unimaginable. Even tho we see therapists and take medications the feeling that we are better off dead so we don't have to feel the o all those like me that feel this way a lot please cbeakley@hotmail talk to me. We can get through this and instead of becoming a statistic we can overcome it. To all the mean posts…..grow up! Your mean posts actually say you are unhappy and take pleasure in someone elses pain and troubles. You are deflecting your anger and unhappiness on people you do not know. You need to look at yourself and ask yourself " is my behavior causing someone else pain?"
To Perez Hilton….please remove and block them. We do not need anymore cyberbullies!

Re: I am like her – Thanks for sharing your story. It is not uncommon for people to get worse from psychotherapy. It can be an identity-changing, dehumanizing, disempowering, shaming experience that causes far more harm than good. Please be careful.

"Most suicidal adolescents (>80%) receive some form of mental health treatment. In most cases (>55%), treatment starts prior to onset of suicidal behaviors but fails to prevent these behaviors from occurring."
