Same-Sex Marriages Remain Legal In CA, Despite Best Efforts Of Those Who Fight Against Love!

We have great news for everyone with the capacity to love!

Today the California Supreme Court put what we HOPE is the final nail in Proposition 8's coffin!

Judges just rejected arguments from those seeking to halt same-sex marriages, which have been allowable in the state since the U.S. Supreme Court made its historic decision a few months back.

It's hard for us to fathom how anyone could oppose the right of ordinary folks to marry whomever they love, but those hate-spreading groups continue to exist!!

We would love to view this as a deathblow to the bigots and ill-informed, but San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera admits the haters may never back down!

He said:

"By now, I suppose we know better than to predict that Prop 8 proponents will actually give up their fight.. But it's certainly fair to say that their remaining legal options are increasingly absurd."

We're just thankful the CA Supreme Court saw fit to throw out the appeal so the state can continue issuing marriage licenses to LGBT couples in love!!!

Let's hear it for honeymoon sex, woot woot!! LOLz!!

Bigots?…haters?…boy everyone has to agree with you don't they Perez.
A lot of people oppose Gay marriage because of their strong religious views.
I don't understand it, but that is Their Right. Their religion is more important.
You actually are incredibly narrow minded for not seeing all the reasons someone might oppose it, It's not all Hate, as you love to put out there. You're an idiot.

Being against gay marriage is not being a bigot. Man, you are an idiot. There are a lot of people who believe in the Bible and it stresses that homosexuality is a sin. People who believe in the Bible have a right to believe in it, just like you do not. I have never witnessed any hate by people who are against homosexuality. They treat people the same. The main reason this has become a big deal is that the trial lawyers smartly realized that homosexual couples are even less monogamous than heterosexual couples. In Florida, though gay marriage lost, it got on the ballot through the work of the trial lawyers assn. So when you sit there and act like everyone wants it, remember who is really pushing it, it's people who want you union to fail so they can make money off of it. Perez-you really are misinformed. What do you do all day? You don't "gossip" anymore and you know nothing about the real world. Your 36 now, start paying attention.

Re: tacogirl – Regardless of anyone's religious beliefs, religion does not dictate the law. Don't want gay marriage? Don't marry a woman. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH? You , however will NOT be able to jam religion into the ballot box this time around. Haven't you harmed enough people who don;t want anything but to be able to marry the person they love?
