Robert Pattinson & Jennifer Lawrence Are The Objects Of Stephenie Meyer's Abject Pity!

stephenie meyer pities robert pattinson jennifer lawrence spotlight twilight author

Do U have big dreams? R U looking to make your mark in the world?

Don't tell that to Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, because she wouldn't wish success on ANYONE!

In a recent interview, the 39-year-old admitted that she feels super bad for Robert Pattinson because of everything the super sex-ay star of her franchise has had to endure.

She revealed:

"[I feel sorry for R-Patz] all the time! I don’t think anybody thought it was going to be like that. It’s gone crazy. Hopefully it quiets down for them too."

We aren't sure if the "crazy" she refers to was the accolade he received for his perfect performances as a sparkly vampy or the overwhelming amount of media scrutiny that befell him after Kristen Stewart cheated on camera, but she is certainly right!!

Being dashing and talented and super rich and famous certainly has its drawbacks!!!

In related news: winning the lottery can be a drag because then you'll need to find a bank vault big enough to store all that cash, LOLz!!

Ms. Meyer's heart is big enough to ache for another, though, too!

She apparently spends a decent portion of her free time reading up on Jennifer Lawrence… and subsequently pitying the heck out of her.

Stephenie continued:

“I just saw an article today about Jennifer Lawrence and how she’s kind of having to deal with how crazy it is and it’s starting to really bother her, as down-to-earth and as sweet as she is… Nobody’s meant to live under that kind of scrutiny – it’s just too much. So I feel really bad for her, how the success has kind of ruined the lives of the people in it.”

Aww! We're sure the white hot spotlight can be tough for J-Law at times, but we'd hardly imagine her success has straight up ruined her life!!!

Still, it's sweet that the author cares so deeply!

"So I feel really bad for her, how the success has kind of ruined the lives of the people in it.” Was a gun held to their head while someone forced them to take the parts or did they audition for them? If you want to be an actor but not be famous, there are hundreds of little theater groups you can join. But I am so sick of hearing about people talking about how hard it is to be famous. You know what's really hard? Being poor. Having people take your photo while you're cashing multi million dollar checks isn't a problem. STFU and read the words someone else wrote or move to the Midwest.

Boo frickety hoo. Let them wipe away their salty tears with a fistful of cash. I do not feel sorry for these people who seem to want to be successful in their business, but seem quick to complain about the drawbacks. All jobs come with their problems, but the upside for these guys is big enough that I really don't feel bad for them.

Somehow I think they'll be ok…them, and all that cash. Meyer should get some persepective, look around this planet, and feel sorry for young people that really need it.

Are you so simple minded that you think fame (not fortune, but fame) brings one happiness?? Have you not seen what immense fame has done to countless actors\musicians over the years? Granted The Beatles managed to come out somewhat sane, but as George said, "There were four of us. We could always turn to one another if one of us felt we were going mad." Having NO ONE around you who truly understands what it's like to be you is horrible.

Re: The Eric – "Having people take your photo while you're cashing multi million dollar checks isn't a problem." No but having them snap your picture every fucking place you go is. Or as Steven Tyler put it, "I signed up for this, my parents and my kids did not". How about them telephoto lens' that allow photogs to take pictures of you inside YOUR HOUSE without you knowing? You're an example of an ignorant sheep who knows not what they speak of. So you STFU and have another fucking beer.

I really doubt that Rob or Jenn pity themselves. If it's even true, Stephanie's "feeling" is just that, and doesn't matter at all. This is only another tabloid come-on. All famous and popular people have stalking and security issues, plus public attention inconveniences. I'm sure that they all find it a pain in the rear, especially to the extent that it affects their private lives. It's funny in a way, that this article doesn't include Kristen, because she seems to have had the most difficulty with it all. Anyway, if it is too much for them, they can always quit, and no one is doing that.

If they both don't like the intrusion into their lives, get out of the business. Problem solved.

  12. 12

what the hell is it to her anyway? they knew what they signed up for fortune and fame don't bring you happiness but it sure as hell is a lot easier to do than clean toilets for about a million times less than they bring in.

You guys are totally missing SM point. It is not the money they have earn it is the intrusiviness Into their private lives "the Paz" and the crazy fans that think they have a say into how they should live their private lives, who they should date etc. it is the world of stupid media we live in. I think it is unfair that they are stalked and not allowed to have time off. Jenn said if she was a regular 23 year old and called the police and reported she being follow by men and they are camping at at her house the police would do something and probably arrest some people but now if she calls they say there is nothing I can do which is BS. These Paz can be stalkers and rapist, be murderers…this needs to stop the hide behind the 1st admendment laws Nd CA let's them ge away with it and it is crazy. If the celebrities would move out of CA and only went to Ca when they had to work that would hurt their ecomony then maybe they would do something.

**notice SM never mentions Kristen and feeling sorry for her too? Very interesting…I wonder why? Has she picked a side between the famous exes?

  14. 14

Boo effing hoo. How many people were murdered, raped, assaulted, abducted, abused, lost their job, home or worse in this country just yesterday and today? All of these people should bless something or someone for what they have. Keep the angst to a minimum.

Are you still harping on Kristen's supposed affair? Really? That was a YEAR ago. Let it go, man! Also, you mention how it affected Rob? Bullshit. The fact that you're calling it her scandal and not even MENTIONING the married director (who actually broke vows, but that's much more forgiveable, apparently). Give the girl a fucking break! She's a 23 year old who was photographed with her director (I find it nauseating that people assume that she slept with him; there's no proof of this, so let it go). Maybe she made a mistake, but she's allowed to move on from it without people like YOU bringing it up a YEAR later as if it's breaking news. Just shut up for once.

Re: Mrs. Momoa – I don't know what Stephanie's problem is. Iv'e read about her dissing the whole twilight franchise and saying she's sooo over it. Hey lady, you were lucky to accidentally write a money making set of books that went crazy in print and st the theaters. Yes, maybe you weren't ready for all the publicity either but, hey, your'e kids never have to worry about not having what they want. It bothered me that she dissed the twilight thing and didn't seem to care that she and her young stars built a Hugh fan base that will be there over the years. Some of us fell in love with the story and were hoping you might write some thing similar. But we see that was too stressful for you to go through again. Thanks for the memories. Don't be sorry for people who have gained success. They are doing what they want to do.
