Star Wars VII Gets A Theatrical Release Date! Find Out When Right HERE!

| Filed under: Film FlickersStar Wars

star wars release date confirmed episode vii december 2015

Whoa! Did you feel that great disturbance in the force?

No, the Death Star hasn't blown up any more planets; the force you felt was actually the lightsaber in our pants stiffening as we learned the latest Star Wars news!!!

J.J. Abrams' Episode VII finally found itself a released date: December 2015!

Grrrwaaaaaarggggh!!!

That's Wookiee for "we can't friggin' wait!"

According to several sources, there is a good chance the flick will hit theaters in December '15, which is significant because it would mark the first time in franchise history that a Star Wars movie premiered in a month other than May!

We still don't know much else about the film (except, sadly, that Ryan Gosling was not cast as an Ewok,) but we're beyond excited to see who they pick!

Hopefully there will be a role for Mark Hamill because Luke Skywalker is a cultural icon, and he really shouldn't be snaggin' smokes from ashtrays!

We'll all find out together in a just a shade over two years!

To tell you the truth, I love Star Wars, but I don't give a crap about the new movies no matter who's in them, who's directing them, or anything.

Star Wars is 3 movies from the late 70's early 80's I'll likely never watch again, but love the merchandise of. Realistic model kits of the ships, books about the making of, posters, whatever. I'll buy LEGO for my nephews and if I can, I'll even willingly dive in and help them build too, but I just can't bring myself to give two shits about the movies….

Sorry, yet another sequel I will not watch. Boycotting all sequels in the hopes that Hollywood writers can come up with some original scripts. I have seen a few posts on here for a couple of movies in late fall and early winter that sound good.

The December date is just a rumor. Also, it's Wookiee, not Wookie.
