No! He has a flop on his hands. Has been needs to go away!
You make me sick praising this fool, dear!
The real Elton, that of the 70s, is what you should be praising.
This washed up has been is a joke.

This is a by-the-book musical work from Elton. Taupin's lyrics are the stand-out. Elton's last burst of musical inspiration was "Songs from the West Coast" and his last best single was from it, "I Want Love". I am a life long Elton fan (heard his first album when I was 10 in 1970) but really after "Blue Moves" in 1976, which was a serious let down, he just went down further and further. Sure he came back for some good stuff in the 80's, but then lost his range\voice in 1987. Since then it's been hit or miss and as I said the last album I enjoyed was "Songs from the West Coast". He can still fill an arena or a Vegas theater and I think he ought to just be a performer now; even if he can't quite sing the oldies like he used to.

Great AC hit for EJ. Elton (and Bernie) continues to write relevant music for his fans which LOVE him and he continues to do what he loves. He no longer needs to prove anything to anyone - he's doing what moves him. He's a legend. His support of NEW music and young artists through his record company and philathroc efforts makes him an extraordinary man. I am very happy he continues to make GREAT music after all these years!

It will shoot to number one one A/ C . In the mainstream , I do not know . It is of the same caliber of The One , Can you Feel Love Tonight , . Still , if it would get mainstream airplay it might soar to that level of popularity / recognition

Re: LJW – This song is superb . Just compare it to the overhyped single The Bridge or i Want Love . This Diving Board is on par with Yellow Brick Road . You will see.
